About this deal

This is the story of a Korean cosmetic product… Initially known to be a dupe of Estée Lauder ANR serum (yes, another one!), it gradually became a cult K-Beauty product. Today, I’m introducing you to the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule serum (which has changed quite a bit over the years!).

Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule [Gold] contains retinol, so it’s strictly a night-time product. Apply it in the PM, straight after cleansing. Start with a couple of nights a week and increase frequency to every other day slowly. Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract: Rich in antioxidants, carrot root extract can help protect the skin against free radicals and promote a brighter, more even complexion. All in all, I am really happy with what the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule has done for my skin so far in terms of smoothness and firming. It is also a lovely hydrating product that works great as an overnight treatment for most skin types. I do feel it’s best for more mature skin, though can also work if you are in your 30s and want to get started with anti aging. The antioxidant power of this ampoule is definitely impressive, and it will help keep your skin barrier strong and healthy (unless you have problems with essential oils and fragrance!). Bisabolol: Extracted from chamomile, it has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for sensitive or irritated skin.

Harnessing the power of advanced repair technology, this serum works tirelessly to stimulate the skin’s natural repair process. It contains a proprietary blend of potent ingredients, including a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, peptides, and antioxidants. Recommendation: Both products offer excellent hydration, but if intense hydration is a priority, the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum may be the preferred choice. Texture Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract: Derived from chamomile flowers, it has calming and soothing properties, helping to reduce skin irritation and redness. Brassica Oleracea Capitata (Cabbage) Leaf Extract, Laminaria Digitata Extract: Have soothing properties, helpful for sensitive or irritated skin. The complete Missha Time Revolution collection consists of just about 20 products with essences, serums, toners, and creams created to revolutionize the way you do skincare. While the Missha Time Revolution products work to target various skin concerns, there are a few Missha Time Revolution items that have gained the brand its popularity among K-beauty fans and skincare enthusiasts alike. If you’re thinking about adding a few Missha Time Revolution products to your skincare roster, here’s where you should start. We all know how great Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum has been hailed to work wonders on our skin. It leaves the skin feeling supple, plump, and nourished. It is particularly beneficial for dry and dehydrated skin types. In short, the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule 5X offers numerous money-saving advantages over its high-end counterpart, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I’m not sure I’ll see it anyway, because I don’t think I’m going to keep using it on my face. I still have half of the bottle left, but I’ll probably finish it on my decolleté (lol, that’s what I do with my “meh” products; my decolleté routine is quite sophisticated 😉). But I was disappointed with its soothing effect. I find that the ANR and the ma:nyo serums are way more effective on this point. It’s such a shame because, considering the formula and the amount of soothing ingredients, I expected a lot from it!

Oleth-3 Phosphate: A surfactant and emulsifier that can help improve the texture and stability of skincare formulations. But it’s Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule [Gold] that really shines here. It has two ingredients that makes it a more effective option for your skin. Infused with 77.2% Extreme Biome

The Estee Lauder serum is oil-free, non-acnegenic or non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores), free of synthetic fragrance, free of parabens, phthalates, sulfites, sulfates and mineral oil. This makes the serum suitable for a wide range of skin types, including dry, normal, combination, and even oily skin. Cholesterol: A natural lipid found in the skin, cholesterol helps maintain the skin’s moisture barrier and promotes overall skin health and resilience.
