Assignment and transfer: We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under the Contract to another entity. You may only assign or transfer your rights or your obligations under the Contract to another person if we agree in writing. Cider is ranked from dry to sweet, with several stages in between such as semi-sweet and off-dry, determined by the apples used and the fermentation process. Dry cider has been fermented for longer, so most of the sugars have been converted to alcohol. Sweet ciders can get their taste from added sugar, sweeteners or apple concentrate, or a slower fermentation. References to liability in this clause 8 include every kind of liability arising under or in connection with the Contract including but not limited to liability in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise.

I was invited to Westons Cider Mill in Herefordshire to spend the day with Wyld Wood Organic Ciderand celebrate Organic September. I’m a huge fan of cider and my uni friends had a soft spot for Westons (it’s 8% cider, what’s not to love?), so I was really excited to see how the stuff is actually made! So you can appreciate just HOW big Westons orchards are (and there are several), take a look at this breathtaking picture. Their mill really is in the heart of the country side and some of the apples are even grown by locals! The orchards stretch on for miles and miles with rows and rows of juicy red apples lined along them. Variation: Any variation of the Contract only has effect if it is in writing and signed by you and us (or our respective authorised representatives).

Third party rights: The Contract is between you and us. No other person has any rights to enforce any of its terms. Westons is a household name in the UK and I don’t know anyone who isn’t a fan of Henry Weston’s cider. But did you know you can go on a tour at the Westons Cider Mill? The Westons Cider tour makes for a great day out in Herefordshire and is perfect for cider lovers.

If we fail to deliver the Goods, our liability is limited to the cost of obtaining replacement goods of a similar description and quality in the cheapest market available, less the price of the Goods. However, we will not be liable to the extent that any failure to deliver was caused by an Event Outside Our Control, a breach from you to clause 5.6, or because you failed to provide adequate delivery instructions or any other instructions that are relevant to the supply of goods. Nowadays ciders are being flavoured or blended with anything from citrus fruits to kiwis or berries, so whether you’re intrigued to try something new or have a penchant for a sweeter alcoholic treat, you’ll definitely be able to find something to satisfy. There’s also no denying that they’re refreshing, easy to drink, and can add a summery vibe to even the rainiest barbecue. Subject to clause 8.2, we will under no circumstances be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss. We reserve the right to amend the specification of the Goods if required by any applicable statutory or regulatory requirement. 4. TIMING AND CHARGES

Almost 2/3 of all antibiotics used in the EU are used on FARM ANIMALS (yep, farm animals and not humans), and these are passed down to us through the food chain Whilst sweeter ciders appeal to the many as they're easier to drink and taste like soft drink, they do have higher sugar content, so may not be recommended for those watching their sugar or calorie intake. On the other hand of the spectrum, ciders classed as scrumpy are made with no added sugars, and are flat instead of fizzy, which is another factor to consider when choosing your tipple. At this point I thought I’d mention I am actually allergic to apples. Only raw ones mind, so apple crumble is still on the cards. Touching apples is ok but ingesting them raw is a big nono, though, we were told that cider apples taste disgusting anyway! Even worse than baking apples supposedly… We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under the Contract that is caused by any act or event beyond our reasonable control ( Event Outside Our Control). Waiver: If we do not insist that you perform any of your obligations under the Contract, or if we do not exercise our rights or remedies against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights or remedies against you or that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive any rights or remedies, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any right or remedy related to any later default by you.
