Designed for the long term decoration of timber, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete, cladding and more, it forms a vapour-permeable, low maintenance water-shedding coating, re-coatable in 1 hour. Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free of any contamination that may interfere with adhesion.Providing you are looking to apply the AllCoat Exterior Satin Water Based to galvanised steel, then two coats may be applied by brush or roller at a coverage rate of approximately 10m2/litre/coat directly onto the bare surface. If this is ferrous steel, then a red oxide or zinc phosphate primer will need to be applied prior to using the AllCoat Exterior Satin. The paint should be applied when the air and substrate temperature is 10°C and rising, relative humidity less than 80%. Ensure there is no risk or rain, fog, frost or condensation from affecting the applied paint before it has had a chance to fully cure. Zinsser AllCoat ® Exterior is an ultimate performance, mould resistant paint that offers supreme protection to all exterior surfaces: wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete and cladding. It forms a vapour-permeable, low maintenance, water-shedding coating that is recoatable in 1 hour. Clean application tools, spatters and spills immediately with warm water and liquid detergent; rinse with water. Application: Shake or stir well before use. Apply Zinsser AllCoat with a synthetic brush , paint roller or sprayer, use when the air and surface temperatures are between 10-32°C, avoid painting in direct sunlight and maintain a 'wet edge' to avoid lapping. Up to 12m² per litre on non-porous surfaces. On porous surfaces coverage will be reduced e.g. sawn timber - 4-8m² per litre. Planed timber - 8-12m² per litre. Normal application is 2 coats, however an additional coat should be applied to areas of high exposure such as sills and fascia boards. Bare galvanised metal: apply direct to clean, bright metal, no primer required, ensure surface is clean, dry and free from any surface contamination This product is self-priming, so 2-3 coats of a lighter colour should cover the dark original uPVC surfaces
