About this deal

ACOSF - No surprise this was my favorite story in the series because it is Nesta's story. I enjoyed Feyre and Rhys, don't get me wrong, but I was needing more from Nesta, so getting her in this was everything. It's not secret that this past year and a half I have been really struggling with a dark depression and trying to heal myself from it, so this book really touched me. I was weepy throughout because I just felt everything she was going through internally on a personal level. I am also glad that she finally got her chance to not only save her family, which she has regretted since letting Feyre go out hunting, to saving herself. I was so disappointed when this ended and has given me the biggest reading hangover. But I am honestly so satisfied with her story I believe I gave this story 5 stars. I also need to see if that anything will come from More and Emerie...like you can't just mention that and then drop it, honestly I need more. She keeps acting like a 'bad a..', she keeps repeating to herself , over and over again, how amazing she is, that she is a survivor, that nobody is her master, and so on… although, she could not figure out such a simple riddle (I knew the answer before finishing the second line), although she only survived Amarantha's tasks with the help of Lucien and Rhys, both MEN/MALE; although she got 'her powers' from 7 lords, MALES; although she became High Lady of the Night Court because of Rhys, a MALE; although she survived returning from the Spring Court due to Lucien, Cassian and Azriel, MALES...

Although I rate it as a series (excluding ACOSF) 3/5, I can say that it is the first series I consider reading again even if I did not rate it 5/5. Probably because of its potential, because despite it all I have become so attached to its universe and to so many of the characters, because I can see how good it could have been...

Ok so I want to start off by saying this is a REALISTIC prediction and that I’m going off previous books not the bonus scene however that will be mentioned. Also the bonus scene is not in every single ACOSF book.

Be swept away to the City of Starlight with this exclusive, Special Edition, Officially Licensed box set of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. After I read the first book, I got really excited. It was easy to read, really well-written, had adorable characters, and even a good plot. I think it is good choice if you want to read romantic fantasies. (It’s still my favorite series today.) Since then, I have read a lot more regularly and faster. This series was one of the main reasons I started to love reading so much. We get a glimpse of her true self after the Suriel spills the tea, when she (with Helion's power and the Suriel's knowledge) helps Rhys start healing but treats him like he was nothing, leaving him literally in the mud, although he had just been tortured, almost died, and was far from healing, because he kept 'things' from her. I ended this series with tears in my eyes. Happy ones, for a change. There’s never been a fantasy series where I could think of a more perfect ending than this one. There were plenty of loose ends but they were stories waiting to be finished rather than sloppy writing. I know that the last of my favorite characters will find happiness (though I would LOVE to read another novella(s) on it). Same goes for Nesta – Rhys opens the doors of his house to Nesta and Elain, provides for them and they all (the Inner Circle) treat them with respect, and not only she is not grateful but she is absolutely horrible. Yes, she is entitled to deal with her own issues as she sees fit but that does not justify her attitude towards those that have done nothing but help her and nobody is forcing her to stay with them, she should just leave. I would have dumped them to Hybern and let them manage on their own since they were so formidable and self-sufficient.

There seems to be no line, not even a blurred one, between self-love talk and outright narcissism – the constant self-love talks Feyre gives herself are actually just the inner talks of an incredibly narcissistic person.

The author repeats the same ideas so many times that instead of emphasizing the message she wants to deliver, she diminishes it and, as a reader, annoys the h… out of you. We are constantly reminded how much Feyre suffered, how she overcome her fears, how amazing she is. Elain is…she just is, there. She is supposed to be really sweet and caring, but I could not buy into that, nor do I care finding out more about her.
