On the APC SMX1500RM2U is a slot for a APC Network Management Card. After some research I learned it will take either the AP9630, AP9631, AP9640, and AP9641 all of which are hot swap-able. The difference between the AP9630/31 and AP9640/41 is the network speed of the card. The AP9630/31 are only 10/100 speeds, and the AP9640/41 are 10/100/1000 speeds. The AP9631 and AP9641 can hook up temp monitoring and it has some other ports. Press E NTER, repeatedly if necessary, to display the User Name prompt.
