About this deal

There is probably no other designer fragrance that has aroused such controversial feelings among perfume lovers in recent years as Yves Saint Laurent's "La nuit de l'homme". Some love it and swear by its seductive magic to make the hearts of womankind beat faster. Others long for the glorious batches of the early years and curse YSL for the numerous reformulations that have made LNDL so you don't really know whether you've sprayed yourself with water or perfume. And yet others are tired of being bombarded with a new flanker from the house of YSL every year. Who expects something innovative will probably be disappointed. For people who have long had a preference for fragrances are probably not rather blown away because it is already a rather familiar fragrance, but: For fans of this series and for people who are looking for an absolute Crowdpleaser without much risk will find here an absolutely great fragrance. 100%. I find the even more uncomplicated and gentle than the original. I find the spiciness of the original a bit stronger, here it has been toned down a bit and also modeled with freshness. Really gentle and extremely sensual. Because of the freshness and toned down spice, this also goes great in daylight and also warmer temperatures. After initial Frozen Cologne touch, it goes quite clearly in the direction of the Ur-Duftes. Crafting a unique fragrance that stands out from the rest is no easy task. The fashion company Yves Saint Laurent have a lot of industry veterans under their wings and the Eau Électrique is a suitable example of that. Created by Juliette Karagueuzoglou, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo, this men's fragrance has a ton of nuances that UK shoppers would enjoy. Said to have somewhat moderate longevity and sillage, the Eau Électrique fits spring and autumn the best, then followed by winter and especially summer less so. It is possible to wear it during the day, though the night-time is when it truly shines and grants a reinvigorating and sensual olfactory aura. Refreshing Notes When I woke up this morning, I couldn't get one question out of my head: what is it about this fragrance that has me so captivated? "I know the fragrance character of La Nuit," I thought to myself. After all, on paper, it looks like there's hardly anything about this flanker that makes it so different from what I knew of the newer LNDL offshoots. But far from it... The thing that intrigued me so much about this release was an almost lost memory of a fragrance that YSL almost single-handedly buried many years ago. The name of that fragrance? La nuit de l'homme...

La Nuit de L'Homme - one of the most popular fragrances for men on the market. An absolute superstar in the fragrance community with a huge fan base. Meanwhile, this fragrance has already 12 years on the hump. It seems longer, especially since you hear the word vintage formula more often. I've had the original scent in my collection for a long time too. It might be one of the batches between 2009 and 2011 and I can understand people's admiration. The current batches aren't abysmal, but there are still huge differences in quality. The current batches smell like solid designer releases, more synthetic and slightly watered down in contrast. Tested a current batch recently and differences are clear. Unfortunately. The original would have niche quality and was even for double the price find many buyers, I'm sure. Look for it here in the forum or google it, but in short, when a perfume must be changed in content, because ingredients of it are no longer available / have been banned, or the manufacturer for cost reasons or other reasons, wants to change the formula.Maerz and Paul A Dictionary of Color New York:1930 McGraw-Hill Discussion of color Electric Blue, p. 156 It is not Frozen Cologne. I repeat: NOT FROZEN COLOGNE! There is indeed something in it, which reminds one again and again a little bit of it, however, I have the feeling of wearing a vintage version of La Nuit de L'Homme now more and more. Electric blue is a color whose definition varies but is often considered close to cyan, and which is a representation of the color of lightning, an electric spark, and the color of ionized argon gas; it was originally named after the ionized air glow produced during electrical discharges, though its meaning has broadened to include shades of blue that are metaphorically "electric" by virtue of being "intense" or particularly "vibrant". Electric arcs can cause a variety of color emissions depending on the gases involved, but blue and purple are typical colors produced in the troposphere where oxygen and nitrogen dominate. La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Electrique offers a fine tension between spicy cardamom, the electric excitement provided by ginger essence, and the vibrant freshness of lavender harvested in France by YSL Beauty. The sensuous base infuses the scent with a dark ambery richness. Wrapped in smooth amber, smoky vetiver, and cedarwood.

The durability and sillage are absolutely satisfactory. I had absolutely no problems with perceiving the fragrance up to 8 hours. The projection was ridiculously good for the first 1-2 hours. A friend of mine complimented me on the scent, even though I was about 2 rooms away from her at the time. If one day there is an Edp or Elixir variant of Bleu Electrique (as YSL is also doing with Sauvage), I would have no problem giving this release a full 10 in the "longevity and sillage" categories as well. Many people saw next to the expensive vintage flacons on the second-hand market the Flanker "Frozen Cologne" as a good alternative, it is but very similar to the "original formula", just a little fresher. La Nuit de L'homme Bleu Electrique is a fresher, more intense version of the Eau de Toilette. The seductive and mysterious warmth of an oriental fragrance. A powerful and contrasting fragrance inspired by the electrifying moment of attraction between two strangers who feel very familiar. Let them ask, "Don't I know you?" You love La Nuit and want it for the day, in more intense, and a little fresher? This is it. Your LNDH Signature.

High Price but Highly Versatile

A fresh, intense, sensual and electrifying La Nuit De L'Homme Bleu Electrique Eau de Toilette for men by Yves Saint Laurent. This fragrance will be your best weapon throughout the night.

The signature bottle of the Yves Saint Laurent la Nuit de L’Homme twisted by an eye-catching color. The amplified electric blue juice evokes the illicit neon light of an underground party. These were all, for my taste really good alternatives to the fragrance, but those like me who own the old, unadulterated original know that it nevertheless always remained the king,- and unbeaten the best version of itself! The "Electric blue" color trend of the glass flacons in 2021 did not skip the latest creation of the Yves Saint Laurent house, which launches an Eau de Toilette Intense with a warm, woody-aromatic blend of notes. La Nuit de l’Homme Bleu Electrique is an electrifying version of an Eau de Toilette Intense. A flash of cool spices and aromatic notes, pulsing a dazzling beam of blue light into the night. A fresher, more intense take of the Eau de toilette based on a high-voltage blend of cardamom, ginger, geranium, and lavender. The durability and silage are possibly not quite as strong, but after a few hours you still notice it much better than the normal EdT, a veil remains throughout the day. And the scent is a bit rounder than the Vintage 2013, but the impression and the feeling are very congruent for me. It just "feels" the same. :) At the 1st testing in the store (so it was also in my 1st comment on the newcomer..) I thought to myself only "Oh, that smells like La Nuit de L'Homme". However, if you own a bottle of it, and wear the fragrance a lot and actively, I think you get a slightly different impression: I give you euretwilen the tip not to judge as hastily as I did, but am all the more eager to hear your opinions on the fragrance. A safe fragrance, a crowdpleaser, an always walker. Really corners and edges are not to be found here. Must also not always. Who is looking for uncomplicated sensuality, will find here. A fragrance that I would wear mainly during the day, especially between 10 and 20 degrees.

The first recorded use of electric blue as a color name in English was in 1845. [1] [2] The color electric blue (the version shown below as medium electric blue) was in vogue in the 1890s. [3] Variations of electric blue [ edit ] Deep electric blue (French electric blue) [ edit ] Electric Blue From the performance I am also very satisfied. An exact number of hours I have not yet herausgetestet, but minimum 8 hours are here drinne. With initially very good sillage it drifts into something about skin tight and is quite pleasant and never too much. You can or should take a few more sprays if you like to smell a little more intense. This is not a problem here, as this DNA is so unobtrusive that even with over 10 sprays you would not be negatively noticed. On clothing, the certainly still holds significantly better. Overall, this performance is above average after some tests. It is now with some houses the fad to water down the fragrances of yesteryear. Logical consequence, I no longer buy it.

Refreshing Notes

Overall, the series is really good. With the Bleu Electrique is already the 5th of this series in my collection. The original, the La Nuit de L'Homme Le Parfum , La Nuit de L'Homme L'Intense and the La Nuit de L'Homme Frozen Cologne , which was unfortunately discontinued. The Frozen Cologne is my favorite and with this Bleu Electrique you get once again a fragrance that goes something in the fresh direction. I don’t understand this, because they don’t have a very large men’s collection and they certainly don’t have anything close to the brilliance and beauty of these fragrances. Along those lines, I can really recommend this scent to you if you've been craving the vintage version for a long time, but it's not worth all that money to you. I find it far more similar than any clones I've tested of it, no unnecessary chocolate notes or anything....
