Before applying the color to your hair, perform a strand test to make sure you’re happy with the results. Everyone’s hair is different, so results may vary.

Plant pigments degrade in water so we have had to premix them in a base where they will remain stable so you can apply directly from the tube. Rinse very well with warm water and use your fingertips to remove the product. We recommend rinsing under a tap over a basin to ensure strong water flow. DO NOT RINSE OFF IN THE SHOWER. After the initial rinse, apply a generous amount of sulfate free shampoo and lather through from roots to ends. Rinse and repeat 2-3 times until your hair feels clean and there is no product residue on your hands. Follow with conditioner if desired. Please protect your hands and eyes during rinsing. Dry and style as usual. The color will fade over the next month depending on your hair. Remember, any variation in your hair color before the application may show through in the end result. Apply the dye directly from the tube to very damp hair using a brush or your hands. Use downward strokes to work evenly from your roots to the ends of your hair, massaging throughout for flawless coverage. Taking the plunge with a permanent red hair dye can be scary, to say the least. But you can always have a go with a semi-permanent dye first. Once you're happy with your colour, you can commit to the permanent a few months down the line.
