This fragrance is quite unique. I was worried that the perfume would become popular and become a simple fragrance to be used by everyone. It's interesting that I haven't come across anyone using it yet, even though it was produced in 2005. Maybe I'm not social enough :D Someone wrote this down below, and I kind of love it. Is it weird that it makes me love this fragrance more? When I first smelled Euphoria Intense I had a flash of nostalgia to the time the original was first issued. Make of that what you will, I won't speculate about reformulations of a scent I never owned. Do I recommend it? Yes, if you like strong, floral, spicy, woody scents. I'd say it's not a safe blind buy or a safe gift unless you're sure the recipient likes this type of fragrance.

A friend wore it at school, and I think my mom received it as a gift once - it is a noughties time capsule. This version could never. Here, the ghost of the original is present, but it is much weaker, and behaves more like an aquatic floral-fruity with a synthetic amber base. It's not bad, it has a relaxing effect when I smell it. I do think it could be headache inducing so I only do less than 2 sprays. This spray lasts a long time on clothes. The next day I still smelled that medicinal smell but it was accompanied by a powdery drydown. For having violet in its notes I am very surprised it does not smell awfully powdery so that's a plus. While my description makes it sound boring and generic, it's not that either. I am happy to have this in my collection and I can see myself reaching for it often. It's very pretty and well balanced. I would have guessed peony or gardenia in this, although its not listed as a note. The iris/amber lens a fresh lightly powdered soapiness to it. If you're an old soul in your teens to 20s, this is still a solid Ropion star. Just giving you a heads up, this is a stop on your journey, not a timeless classic. I don't see it staying around in it's current formulation much longer, so grab it for a steal. Be warned, the bottle is super luxe but a stupid design unless you're a minimalist. As it begins to dry down, a synthetic woody-amber accord emerges, subtle yet grey, weighing down the floral-fruitiness somewhat. It is like the base of many modern designer scents, an accord I associate with masculines - Sauvage-like, I guess. It is inoffensive enough however to not ruin the scent, mediocre as it is. It is a feminine-leaning, transeasonal scent with moderate sillage and longevity - or at least this iteration is.

I think this did used to be great, but now - unfortunately - this current scent is quite boring. Calvin Klein (the company) has reformulated this to a pale version of its former glorious self. So, this floral bouquet grows along with evolution and becomes extremely sensual, without any overly sweet nuances, but with an ambery and comfortable creaminess that permeates for hours on the skin. A beautiful example of an amber accord, without a doubt! Although it is written that it is intended for women, I think it is a unisex fragrance. The staying power is slightly above average. The spread is also slightly above average. It starts to disappear after 3 hours on the skin. You may want to freshen up in the middle of the day. I am sure this smell will be felt immediately in a crowded environment.
