If it made almost-23-year-old me laugh out loud, I can imagine it’d make its target audience – older children and pre-teens, I’d say – howl with laughter (especially if their parents read it to them). There are even some jokes that maybe only adults will understand (for example, there’s a horribly rude TV show presenter called Piers Snoregan.
