About this deal

It moves smoothly despite the small plastic wheels and the frame only weighs 8.1kg so it can be pushed with one hand (the carrycot adds an extra 4kg). The Quantum is a breeze to use! It’s really easy to put the seat on and to reverse it too. You just take it off and turn it around and attach it in exactly the same way. You don’t need to change any of the attachments or anything like with other pushchairs that I’ve used. See this in my video a bit further down in this post.

The innovative Diono Quantum Multi-Mode Travel Stroller is inspired by parents to provide everyday magic and simplicity that feels like common sense. You can easily recline the seat by using the handle on the top. This is so much easier than any other pushchair I’ve come across. Usually you have to adjust straps and try to get them even to recline the seat but you just lift the handle and recline the seat to where you want it. It so smooth and my toddler doesn’t wake up when I do it. She likes to sit up straight when she’s awake and if she falls asleep, I pull down the hood and recline the seat so that she has a relaxed and private place to nap.The Quantum takes up quite a lot of room when folded in two parts and I think it has to be in two parts to fit in our car’s boot. It wouldn’t be our choice of pushchair if we were travelling by car and needed to fit a lot of luggage too but it’s fine for everyday use and we can easily fit 2-3 large bags of shopping along with the Quantum in our boot. We have a very small travel pram that we use for trips when we need luggage and the rest of the time we use the Quantum. Luxurious, plush, soft and cosy, the Diono Quantum All Weather Footmuff is the perfect choice for your little one, all year round. The Diono Quantum Classic is without a doubt, a beautifully stylish pram. With its luxurious fabric, all terrain pneumatic tyres, leatherette handlebar and four-tier eclipse canopy, it’s a brilliant choice for parents who want a little bit of luxury when they’re out and about with their little ones. Features of the Diono Quantum Classic German firm Cybex is a leading manufacturer of luxury baby gear and the Priam is one of its flagship products. Part-pram, part-stroller, the Cybex Priam is suitable from birth up to four years of age or 17kg and combines an all-wheel suspension with large wheels. These combine to offer one of the smoothest drives on a pram or pushchair we’ve ever used.

The deep foot section will also provide room for wriggling or growing legs! The extra-long front apron comes up high to protect your baby from the elements and features a simple magnetic fold system which can be placed over a bumper bar. The front section can be removed and the handy two-way zips allow complete flexibility and customisation on the temperature for your little one. In addition to this, this Footmuff is machine washable, ensuring this stays in perfect condition for plenty of time to come. It comes with a carrycot, a car seat and a rain cover so you’re ready for all sorts of outdoor adventures from birth and the main seat features an adjustable footrest and a removable safety bar to grow with your little one until they’re around three years old (or up to 15kg). Disclosure: We were sent the Quantum Classic for the purpose of this review. All words and photographs are my own.

The Diono Quantum2 is a second - upgraded, more stylish, and elaborate - generation of the original Diono Quantum stroller system. The new version introduces not just a more luxurious design, but also added features. The seat now comes with a double super-soft insert for the smallest of babies. The hood also features an added metal frame. The Quantum 2 comes with a separate carrycot - so it no longer has a 2in1 type of seat unit. The Diono Quantum Classic is easy to assemble and take apart. We live in a small terraced house so space is at a premium. Therefore we’ve been removing the bassinet and folding up the chassis on a daily basis to make space in our hallway. It’s really simple to remove the bassinet as is folding down the chassis with its super compact nesting fold. I’ve folded quite a few in my years as a parent and this is one of the easiest. It folds down quite small so it would fit into the boot of my car easily. The bassinet should be removed before folding the chassis. However, when using it with the toddler seat, you don’t have to remove the seat to fold it up! Without the seat attached the stroller folds very easy and compact however refer to “THE BAD” because it doesn’t end here 😉 There are so many baby products on the market and when you’re a first-time parent it is completely overwhelming. You end up buying things that turn out to be completely useless and others that you only use for a short space of time.

quantum is super easy to use. Co-ordinated touch points to operate the stroller are easy to find so whether it’s a push, pull or twist just look out for the ‘touch tone’ features and follow the blips.

Memories, milestones and everything inbetween!

The Diono Quantum is an innovative Diono Quantum multi-mode travel stroller that is engineered with clever design features that makes it easy to use and practical for parents and safe, secure, protective and comfortable for babies and toddlers. The handlebar offers a good grip, but its unusual oval design means you can’t hook bags over it, plus there’s no storage space under the seat. You get a removable zipped bag instead, which although neat doesn’t offer as much flexibility as a basket. The Stokke Xplory X is pricey, but there’s no doubt you’re getting a premium product for your money.
