Later, Shrek and Donkey part ways after finishing their quest, and Donkey discovers Dragon crying by a brook in the forest. Feeling sorry for her, Donkey approaches Dragon and the two reconcile. Dragon helps Shrek and Donkey prevent Fiona’s wedding to Farquaad by flying them to Duloc. Upon landing, Donkey tells Dragon to have fun and so she runs off to chase the local guards. After the guards overwhelm Shrek and Fiona, Shrek whistles for Dragon to come to the rescue. Dragon, with Donkey riding on top of her, breaks through a large window and swallows Farquaad whole. This restores peace, with everyone present happy to be free from Farquaad. The police and the Mu family had agreed a series of conditions although the council felt they did not go far enough.

And any time his surname is pronounced as Ouyang, which is a very common surname in China. When Richard mentions his full name for the first time, it sounds very much like the real life person Ouyang Ziyuan, and the subtitles also shows the name as Ouyang Suiyan. When Richard mentions his surname for the second time, he also pronouces it like Ouyang, but in the subtitles in all languages the name appears as Liu Ciu-jian (in Pinyin style without hyphenation Ciujian). Same does Liu/Ouyang’s fellow chinese policeman, pronouncing the surname as „(Inspector) Ouyang“. So it seems very likely his original surname was supposed to be Ouyang, and his given name Suiyan or Ciujian, but Ouyang Suiyan/Cuijian was later falsely changed to Liu Jian.

Enjoyed this quite a bit more than its predecessor, Dragon Princess, probably because Millie dooesn't feature much in it, the annoying, selfish princess with anger-management issues. She's more like Hazel, the first Green Witch, than her namesake, (see book 3) so why is she the heroine? Oh well. She doesn't deserve Audan, an young ice dragon who is brave without be too foolhardy, inquisitive without being stupid, helpful without being pushy, but idiot enough to fall for Millie, who hasn't shown she's grown-up yet, not even by the end of this book. I feel like in the beginning, Emma would not just whisk Millie away from Audun like that, especially considering that her grandmother did basically the same thing to Grassina and Haywood, and she saw how it affected her aunt. True, she didn’t transform her into an animal and banish her to parts unknown, but Audun didn’t really know what happened to her. I also feel like she would not react so badly to her daughter being in love with a dragon considering the fact that she and her daughter are basically part dragon, and Millie and Audun met and fell in love under similar circumstances to Emma and Eadric. If anything, she would have just told Audun that he needed to have more time away from Millie to make sure that it was true love, rather than using magic to force them apart. I felt it was very unlike the Emma that we know based on what she experienced.
