Some of the plot twists and turns overrode character development – and that would be fine if it was a plot driven story, but it really wasn’t. The characters drove the plot and often made decisions that were incongruent with their growth and understanding. This always seems to happen to us. It’s like something about our molecules in close proximity melts hate into desire, and I just don’t get it. It makes no sense, but it feels good. And I hate that it does, because he’s such a raving jerk. Oh boy. Woah baby. Zoo wee mama. I mean all of that in a good way because this book? Hot damn. It was fabulous. Not a lot seems to talk about the MFM and MF scenes in this book so let me. I find MFM/MF scene in gay books are disrespectful. Why would a gay man wants to read about pussies and tits. And yes, like me, bi/pan men exist. Some probably don’t mind, but it’s promoted as a gay book which is for the men loving men (MLM) audience. At the end of the day it was all about Kyran and Avi, both men, right? I’m not new to Nyla K, so I’m actually not surprised by this, so don’t come at me. I can’t help feeling disappointed. Forgive me for needing to build myself up to this… I’m not as interested in bisexual experimentation as you are, apparently.”
