About this deal

For the actual chocolate chips in the recipe, you can use supermarket own chocolate, cadburys chunks, galaxy etc… but I wouldn’t make them too large. For the ones in the pictures, I used Callebaut chocolate chips because I love them, but equally I often use Tesco’s own chocolate bars that come in at 45p per 100g of chocolate. Roll cakes are a classic dessert but making it Galaxy is beyond cool! This buttermilk cake is paired with a cream cheese frosting for an awesome taste, so it tastes delicious and looks beautiful beyond beautiful! 5. Galaxy Popcorn

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…” space age desserts take social media by storm with foodies rushing to create galaxy-themed treats. Pinch off pieces of blondie dough and scatter randomly across the surface of the brownie batter in both pans until all of the blondie batter is used. Use an offset spatula or spoon to swirl and spread the blondie dough pieces to cover the brownie dough completely. At this point, I very carefully folded in the flour by hand. When adding flour to cake, blondie or brownie batter I always stop mixing when I can no longer see white streaks of flour. This stops the texture from becoming heavy and dense. This magical color changing Lemonade is not only a delicious drink; it’s a really awesome science experiment that you can drink. You can drink the colors of the galaxy! 13. Galaxy Brownies

Gluten-Free Flour Blend: I used King Arthur Measure for Measure. This is a high-quality all-purpose blend for baking that already has xanthan gum included. Other blends may work as well but I have not tested them at this time.

I have, in the past, mixed my Blondies by hand. This is mainly because where I take my photographs and make my videos isn't in my kitchen but in my dining room next to a big window.

Ingredients

As some of you know, I’m a cake decorator as well as a blogger. I absolutely love what I do! My goal is to create memories for people that goes beyond eating cake. It’s also important to me that I make amazing looking cakes but also great tasting cakes as well! I made this Doctor Who Galaxy Cake for a true fan so the pressure was on. This cake was all about the details from the top to bottom and the handpainted galaxy turned out better than expected! A pretty, swirly vanilla milkshake! Milkshakes are so good and a galaxy one is even better! 8. Galaxy Bark It can be done by hand but I find the mixture has more of a tendency to split when doing it this way. If you are an elbow grease type of baker - don't let that deter you as I have made some amazing blondies by hand. They are just even more perfect if you have the extra welly of a mixer. How to make them

With a stand mixer, beat eggs until foamy (about 3 minutes).Mix in sugar, vanilla, and melted chocolate. Add flour and salt and stir until incorporated. When I was thinking about what chocolate bars I should bake with, I wanted to use one I hadn’t tried in a while. I’ve used Mars Bars four times on this blog already, my favourite time being my Mars Bar c heesecake, but it was so long ago! Add the vanilla extract to the bowl along with the eggs. Beat well for 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/350°F/gas mark 4. Line your brownie pan — I think it's worth lining the sides as well as the base — with foil, parchment or Bake-O-Glide.

What's not to love about smooth Galaxy chocolate with an oozing caramel centre? Put that deliciousness into the centre of a blondie and you have baked goods on a whole new level. I really hope you enjoyed today’s recipe and it got your creative juices flowing and inspired you to get baking too. They should be done when they're not wobbling when you shake the tin, and a skewer should come out mostly clean, not covered in chocolate.
