For the 0.8Ω Z-Coil, recommended at 15 to 18 Watts, I went with a 50Vg 50PG 20mg Nic Salt – GotSalts – Peachy Promise. Make sure coil bottom capes are clamped all the way down and make sure air holes are closed when refilling. For standard,high resistance atomizers or restrictive devices (ex. pod based,pen), we recommend 6mg or higher due to the mouth to lung (MTL) design of this atomizer,tank. Preference may vary depending on the user and frequency of use.
Use special caution when using Li-Ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure you have enough knowledge of Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use. The truth is, I’ve actually had the Kroma-Z quite a while – in early January, after using it for a week or so, I couldn’t find it!But there will certainly be those who appreciate this second level of airflow adjustment. More so for those who have a specific MTL restriction they are searching for. The beeping noise you hear is totally normal and is a symptom of something called pulse-width modulation, or PWM for short. In simple terms, PWM is how the device utilizes the electrical power from the battery to heat up your coil. These pulses of power can approach the frequency range of human hearing in some individuals with an acute sense of sound. Nothing can be done to avoid this noise, however it's nothing to be concerned about regarding the performance or lifespan of your product. The Kroma-Z is equipped with a magnetic pod bay by default which is not compatible with a 510 connected device. However, the Kroma-Z has a separate magnetic 510 connector adapter available which allows you to utilize all of your 510 devices with the Kroma-Z once attached, which is the standard threading for most vaporizers and atomizers. Extend coil life and maintain intense flavor output with Coil+ and Refresh modes. Coil+ mode sends a pulse of current through your coil at the end of every puff to increase your coil's lifespan. When flavor becomes muted, use Refresh to pulse the coil at 40% of your vaping wattage. This draws liquid into the coil and deters residue build-up. DIY Options

Adapter catches onto the device strongly with a magnetic connection. It is with a tank on top holding on strongly. You can put up to a 28mm tank on top without overhang, but I think it goes best with an MTL tank. With the DTL 0.3ohm coil at 35W you get around 290 puffs and with the MTL 0.8ohm coil I get 565 puffs out of one charge. That is a lot of puffs for MTL, one charge enough for 2-3 days of vaping. It feels proper, it works very well, and it looks just great, nothing to complain about this device to be honest. The 3000mAh battery is amazing and being able to get almost 600 puffs on an MTL coil before having to charge is impressive. Only use Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries in devices that have a built in protection circuit board(PCB) that detect shorts, over-discharge, over-charging etc. Use of lithium ion batteries without a PCB may increase your risk or explosion and,or fire. Tips for new nicotine users: Sub-ohm or low resistance atomizers produce a higher throat hit than standard,high resistance atomizers. We strongly suggest 3 to 6mg eLiquid or lower with sub-ohm or low resistance atomizer heads. Preference may vary depending on the user and frequency of use.

As for the Kit... It's perfect. The preinstalled 0.8 coil in the pod gives plenty of flavour and is working great with 20mg nic salts. Much like the original Kroma-A, the Innokin Kroma-Z has an internal battery, but this time they’ve increased it to 3000mAh. Screen is clear and plenty bright enough. Controls are all straight forward with no complicated menus to trawl through.It may be that your device is not making a solid connection with your tank, please unscrew the atomizer and pull out the coil and rebuilt them on, be sure the coil is installed correctly. The Ares is suitable for both mouth to lung and a smooth restricted lung draw. For a reliable and inexpensive sub-tank then look no further than the i-Sub range, often bundled with Cool Fire mods as kits the i-Sub has a wide range of coil options and is less power hungry than a lot of sub-tanks enabling it to be used with single cell and lower power mods. From having a range of Smok devices to my beloved Falcon to my Caliburn, I tried this out as I decided to settle for the MTL experience. Please do not set it for a long time since the cotton will absorb liquid and will split from the mouthpiece while you inhale it. In this case, please upside down the tank and shake the inside spare juice off.
