About this deal

You can add some mass to the columns to reduce distortion, which appears with every vibration and isn’t fully removed by bracing. It’s recommended to not more than 70% of your stand’s height to save gravity center on its position. What is the best height for speaker stands? LANGLEY, BC, CANADA, October 8, 2021 – Kanto today announced the introduction of its SX Series speaker stands, two premium-quality 22- and 26-inch-high stands that offer an elegant, understated appearance, best-in-class vibration isolation, easy cable management, and a number of useful accessories to accommodate the widest variety of stand-mounted loudspeakers. Genuine Audiophiles, Not Salesmen: We aren’t just in this for sales. We're in it for the love of sound, and to enhance your auditory experiences. High-quality 22- and 26-inch stands combine elegant appearance with outstanding vibration isolation, versatile cable management and useful accessories — Awarded Excellence: 🏆 Honored as Australia’s Hi-Fi Retailer of the Year in 2021 and 2022, and hailed as Queensland’s Best Hi-Fi Retailer. Not just accolades, but a testament to our dedication.

These speaker stands come with two sizes of top plates, making them compatible with YU4, YU6, and other compatible speakers. With a mounting hole and ¼” – 20 screw, you can trust that your speakers will be securely supported with up to 30lbs of weight. The interchangeable spiked and domed feet provide stability on both carpet and hardwood floors. This model was created to match perfectly with YU4 and YU6 speakers from Kanto, although they are suitable literally with any acoustic system, everything thanks to various sizes of plates and pretty wide basement – its dimension is 10.6 by 8.9 inches. I tried them with the speakers which are a bit larger than the scale of the upper plate and they were stabilized absolutely fine as their weight was within the range of the SP26 weight capacity. The height is another principal factor, no matter where you want to arrange your garniture and what you are expecting from the listening sessions. I didn't use the included column cable directing feature. I actually forgot, how sad is that? Saying that, I did get a good look at the column and the cable section was well executed providing plenty of space and ease of use for sure. I fully intend to use this feature in the future, but suffice it to say that it is a well thought out and executed feature from the Kanto design team.In the years that followed, Kanto expanded its product lineup to include a range of bookshelf speakers, subwoofers, speaker stands, and audio accessories. The company's commitment to quality and innovation led to the development of popular products such as the YU series of powered speakers, which are known for their minimalist design, versatile connectivity options, and outstanding audio performance. Recent Developments Constructed using a heavy-duty aluminium and steel, the SX26's base plate lowers the centre of gravity for your speaker stands meaning your stands are more tip-resistant. No matter how loud you want to turn up your favourite albums, TV or film, the tip-resistant design coupled with the foam inserts for the top plate ensures that you will never need to worry about your speakers falling from your stands.

Founded in 2007 by David Reid and his team of audio enthusiasts, Kanto Loudspeakers began as a small startup in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. The company's name, "Kanto," was inspired by the Kanto region in Japan, known for its cutting-edge technology and vibrant culture. This inspiration is reflected in the company's products, which are designed to deliver excellent audio performance and a visually appealing aesthetic. First Products and Growth

In recent years, Kanto has continued to grow and innovate, introducing new products that cater to the evolving needs of audiophiles and casual listeners alike. Some notable examples include: If you want to hide unsightly speaker wires, there are various methods of doing some. The easiest way is to get a speaker stand that has built-in cable management. Surprisingly, not every speaker stand has it. Feet Interchangeable Top Plates: Each stand comes with two top plate size options to accommodate different speaker sizes. Final thoughts and suggestions: I am very comfortable with my 4.5/5 rating of this product and I would be equally comfortable recommending it to family and friends. There is one key caveat that I will offer, and that it is important that you know exactly where you are putting the stands, and I mean precisely as after the fact moving them is not as easy as it should be. Consider in my scenario, on a wooden floor you absolutely will be using the floor isolation/protection discs. The issue is that they don't slide so when my stands needed to be moved, it took some doing. I ultimately found it possible to achieve, and I wouldn't say that it was difficult, but I do believe that it should have been easier nonetheless. Stable on All Floor Types: The interchangeable feet options ensure stable footing on carpet or hardwood. To be with you at every step. From envisioning a serene evening with your favourite album to setting up the ultimate cinematic audio for movie nights. And once that’s clear, we’ll guide you on making it a reality - harmonising your budget, room dynamics, and dream. Feet are individually adjustable for uneven floors; can be used with the included bulls-eye level, and probably tilted upwards if desired by simply removing the rear ones. YU6: A powerful and versatile powered speaker system with built-in Bluetooth and a phono preamp, making it an ideal choice for vinyl enthusiasts. Thank you again to Kanto Living for allowing me to access the SX26, I am absolutely thrilled to have them and without a doubt they are full value for the money. I didn't use the included fill bags that can go into the stand column to add even more stability and dampening, but that would also be another thing that had I been better prepared at assembly time I would have done. It really isn't needed though, these stands even unfilled are substantial and very sturdy. Attachments Throughout its history, Kanto Loudspeakers has received numerous awards and accolades for its products, including:

Using a bespoke isolation system, the SX26 Speaker Stands provide ultimate decoupling from your floor to vastly improve the response of your speakers. By decoupling the speakers from your floor or desk, you will reduce the amount of low-end resonance that passes through the speakers to your surface, meaning your music, TV or film will sound clearer than ever before. The SX26 Speaker Stands also feature a fillable column that you can fill with a material of your choice to increase the weight of the stand, ensuring even more rigidity and stability in your stand. Safe and secure design You shouldn’t worry about the grade of sound – any spare energy is absorbed and redirected by steel wedges into the floor, creating an effect of the refined professional sound of the huge floor-standing acoustic systems. With such stands, you’ll feel kind of cinema sound at home. You will instantly admit how Pangea’s construction technology affects all aspects of sound, involving bright coloring of the low mid-range, and nice bass. Moreover, you can fill all the four support pillars with sand or steel infusion for more professional vibration attenuation, which proves that they are the greatest speaker stands for large speakers. TUK: A high-end powered speaker system featuring AMT tweeters, an integrated DAC, and a dedicated headphone amplifier, offering audiophile-grade performance in a compact form factor. Awards and RecognitionSUB Series: A range of subwoofers designed to complement Kanto's bookshelf speakers, providing deep, powerful bass for an immersive audio experience. Materials and fit and finish: I think the Kanto SX26 stands are made from quality, and seemingly very durable materials. Okay, those base plates are extremely dense and heavy, which you would want and expect, but I was still surprised at just how heavy they were. I used to have a set of Atacama stands supporting my KEF R300s, and they were absolutely fine, but by way of direct comparison the Atacama stands were not nearly as robust feeling. I know at a certain point weight can be an issue when we think about product materials, but I feel that it is perfectly reasonable to suggest that a speaker stand should feel very well planted, and the Kanto SX26 feels well planted. You want stands that hold your speakers as close to your ear level when in a listening position as possible. For example, if you're using the speakers in a home theater system where you will listen to them while sitting on a couch, you don't need stands that are as tall. But if you intend to be in a standing position while listening to them, you'll want a taller speaker stand. Actual installation wasn't nearly as complicated as I feared, though it was definitely more complicated than any other stands I've had. Supports Heavier Speakers: These stands can manage speakers weighing up to 30lbs securely, accommodating a diverse range of speaker systems.
