About this deal

While the rude, elusive Dante isn't her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.

What surprised me most about this billionaire romance is that our heroine, Vivian Lau, is not poor or broke or even staunchly middle-class. She is a jewelry heiress who, as a child, did not have money, but has been wealthy enough for most of her life to know how to carry herself in various high-society circles. Though there is a difference in their wealth—as Dante is old money and Vivian is new—I loved that Ana Huang did not use their fiscal differences to drive the story forward. Yes, Vivian benefits from the respect that Dante Russo’s name offers, but she is not stepping into a world that she doesn’t understand. This allowed to the story to explore other avenues for conflict. With each of Ana’s books, I form attachments to each of the characters as well as fall in love with them. Vivian and Dante were no different and I admired their strengths and personalities. Vivian was strong and independent in her own right, despite being a jewelry heiress, she paved the way for her financial support and business. Vivian may have always put on a facade of being the perfect daughter when it came to her family, but when she was with Dante, he unleashed some part of her that was raw and passionate unlike anything she’d ever really experienced before. Dante, exuded power in himself, and was able to command a room with a presence that was magnetizing. In addition, Dante wasn’t entirely perfect, he had a darkness to him that when revealed showed just how much of a threat he was when provoked, plus he was that morally gray character that despite some potential red flags, you couldn’t help but love him for it. the filthy mouth on that man 🤭 he was so hot, so attentive, so reassuring, so EVERYTHING!!!! he was ready to sacrifice it ALL for isa and that’s all i need in a hero truly. Dante calling Vivian an investment. - “Make no mistake, mia cara. This is business. And if there’s one thing I take seriously, it’s my investments.” - I’m sorry but I would’ve 🔪🔪🔪😁I was delighted that King of Wrath incorporated various forms of these tropes, but found a way to sidestep many of the stereotypes of these stories. As the title implies, Dante Russo runs his business with a ruthless iron fist. He thrives on maintaining control, but when he lets that façade slip, he can become a cruel judge, jury, and executioner to those who cross him. Now among many reasons why Ana Huang is phenomenal with her writing, her characters, and stories is also THE WAY SHE WRITES HER SPICE SCENES! YASS! Like I know going into this story there was going to be spice, but OMG! When I got to the part with the partition in the car… let’s just say I knew fully well why Ms. Ana included Beyoncé’s “Partition” as part of the playlist for this book. Honestly the partition scene was probably my favorite and yeah it just had me burning up and feeling some type of strong way with the way that both Vivian and Dante had a sense of command and steamy hotness with each other in that particular scene. Dante was powerful both in and out of the bedroom, and Vivian let go all pretenses and was free and gave herself over to Dante. The chemistry between Vivian and Dante was HOT! PASSIONATE! RAW! And downright AMAZING! Even aside from the spice, I really enjoyed seeing the softer side to Dante and just how obsessed he was with Vivian. I love an alpha, possessive/ obsessive grumpy man just like the next girly, but when said man shows his vulnerable/ soft side, I just go “aww” and swoon. Although this story was a bit predictable, I loved it. I loved the chemistry and romance between Vivian and Dante and I definitely didn’t want this story to end. It took some time for Vivian and Dante to get closer, but I enjoyed their little banters. You should've never let me take you, Isabella. Because now that I have, I won't be able to let you go.

Melody knows exactly what type of man Liam is and would rather die than give up the power she has spent her life earning. I really liked being able to see the twisted lies scenes from Vivian and Dante's point of view and I have to admit that Dante Russo and his planned dates conquered me. Omg and isa older brother gabreil? I know this man getting a book. I just FEEL IT. he is so zaddy. 😮‍💨😍🥵😫 The Deterioration Of The Land, Which Forces The Farmers To Huddle And “Figger,” Foreshadows The Plight Of The Joads, Who Will Be Forced Off Their Land By A Profit-seeking Bank And Will Go West In Search Of A New Livelihood. The Beautifully Apocalyptic Description Of The Slow Spread Of Decay Across Oklahoma Country Is Heavily Influenced By The King James Bible And Establishes The Novel’s Brooding And Oppressive Tone. When Aditi Gupta comes home late from work as a pediatric resident one night and her grandfather offers this pitch, she reluctantly agrees. She’s far too busy with med school to be dating, and besides, she dreams of a love for the ages, like her parents, not an arranged marriage. And yet she finds herself agreeing to three dates because she loves her grandfather. All she has to do is make herself utterly ineligible and problem solved! But The General Discovers Him. The General Regards Her As A Threat And Sentences Her To Death By Hanging. Khalid And Tariq Save Her From The Gallows. He Apologises, But Shahrzad Finds It Difficult To Forgive Him. Khalid Abruptly Departs For A Week In Amardha. Money buys power, and power always has a price. The fear of those who already possess both? Losing it. What is the best way to ensure keeping it? Alliances. And elites don’t marry down—they marry equally. In An Attempt To Escape The Despotic King, Shahrzad’s Father, Jahandar, Flees With Her Sister To The Childhood Home Of Tariq, Who Was Close To Shahrzad As A Child. Tariq Has Fled With His Friend Rahim To Prevent Shahrzad’s Murder Before They Can Reach Him. When The Wind Died Down, The Men And Women Emerged To Assess The Damage To The Fields. Everyone Was Subdued, Even The Children. They Were Watching The Men’s Reactions To See Whether They Would Break. The Men Did Not Break, But Instead Began To Consider How To Deal With The Ruined Corn. The Women Resumed Their Housework And The Children’s Play, Knowing That As Long As The Men Were Ok, The Family Would Be Fine. A Group Breaks Into Shahrzad’s Room One Night. When Her Assistant Screams For Help, Khalid And Jalal Arrive And Kill All Except One Of Them.

I have to say that for the first time, the breakup was not ridiculous, since it is understandable that Vivian was angry and did not want to know anything about Dante and I also liked the reconciliation, it was not rushed and made more sense. Sigh, takes out her glasses, puts them down, ok! Welcome to this weird and chaotic review!! Since I have no idea what my thoughts are exactly lmao. If you love good enemies to lovers whose families decide they are better off married, this book is for you. At the wedding reception, the bride tried to kill her husband. The sexual tension is next level. This King of Wrath book review is sure to pique your interest if you’re into billionaire romances or arranged marriage stories. This is probably gonna be a chaotic review, but that’s what I feel like writing right now, so bear with me <33 In totality, I adored this book. I felt seen and represented and in some way, Ana made me fall for a morally white MMC - which is very rare. I can't wait to see more from Ana and this series because this world is just phenomenal!! Not only was the romance perfect, so were the two leads!! The way I related to both Kai and Isabella in so many different ways made me fall in love with both of them even more!! One thing that I love about Ana's books is that she writes Asian characters the way they should be written. Flawed but yet so perfect in their own way. She perfectly describes the asian culture and asian families in this. Both the MCs in this book are asian and I loved how similar their culture and families were but yet so different in their own way.
