Let's move on to Bendis. As a writer he can divide a comic audience. My take on him is - his strengths are building characters and adding humour and keeping the pace of the plot moving and his weaknesses are he can fall in love with his dialogue a bit too much, and he isn't great at writing action scenes. Since we focus on one character and not a team we get to avoid the "snappy team patter" that can drive me crazy reading a Bendis book and since this is a character he obviously cares a lot about we get a lot of great character moments.
