There is indeed a lot vanilla in here. When the beautiful rosy green floral heart appears, it sort of smells like a plush layer of baby powder. I want to add that this isn't an anemic bouquet that I encounter increasingly with more prestigious perfume houses when it comes to edt concentrations. There's life and body to the flowers yet. I’ve had great affection for this scent since the first time I wore it, which undisputedly continues! What a little beauty for a designer scent!

I'm not always a fan of sweet masculines, however in this particular case, Moschino Forever has managed to win me over. Nor will I join in to chastise it's cheaply molded "Gangsta Bling" presentation, by comparing it to the 200child-labor-hour flacon of Valentino Uomo. Which would indeed make this flimsy "Logo Cap", straight up junk... by comparison.One thing about it, for those of you who like to collect strong frags this scent is very strong. It lasts 10 hours on skin but I'd wear it mostly in the spring because it can get cloying in the summer. It can fit many situations that are casual and would probably have ended up being a 2 spray gym scent for me (there is always an opportunity to make a good impression...even in the gym). Due to it's performance it can possibly be a signature scent one could wear all year. It is a special fragrances that can be used a lot on spring and on summer nights because it makes you feel warm and romantic. It is a best buy at this price. Forever Sailing has lots of citrus, juniper and musky vetiver with a touch of mint – all very balanced and very refreshing. The lavender, juniper and patchouli makes it juust a little different from other aquatic freshies. Definitely a casual and happy “feel-good” scent. From a distance it's a very generic, although nice citrus, zesty, sort of sour type, while if you go for a whiff up close, you'll get the darker side of it, the lavender, the woods, and musk, almost like a patchouli too. The mint dies off within 10 minutes on my skin, not completely, but about 75% gone. The projection is good in the first hour, a lot of girls like this and ask me what I am wearing, which does not happens with Chanel Allure (for eg). After the first hour, the perfume is still there but people around you will smell it when you shake hands or kiss each other. LOVE! OMG! The first minutes are my fave, and sadly they don't last long. It's like Safari meets Must (galbanium) meets Tabu!! I get some soap too (like Youth Dew). Then upon drydown it's very much like Obsession, but also masculine.I've had my genuine tester 75ml edt for a while now. I've worn it only on several occasions to work over consecutive days. Been told it smells nice but that l need to tone it down. I think I got used to the scent so much I didn't smell it anymore so I sprayed more on to compensate.

I cannot possibly give it a single mark for projection. After 10-15 minutes, I cannot smell it at all. I have to get in close to smell this fragrance at all, even just after spraying! Very nice. Forever is a sort of overlooked fragrance that would probably receive more attention had it been released by a better-known house. Of course we all know Moschino, but in the fragrance arena it's not one of the first brands that comes to mind. Anyway, Forever feels upbeat and modern, but also avoids the generic through its contrast of freshness and spice which works very well in this scenario. It immediately opens with an aromatic-fruity quality, juicy and even slightly powdery, accented heartily with anise which gives it an herbal-like sweetness. It's a pleasant combination that boasts powerful sillage and holds together well. Just as you're sort of getting ready for it to change, in comes the pepper and spicy aromatics, providing an interesting, and welcome contrast, creating some dynamism between the notes and the feeling of progression within the scent. This is the heart of Forever, and its stays here for a while until it reaches the final stage of the dry down, where it concludes in a more or less generic, though well-executed woody-tonka base. In the 90s i remember 4 girls coming from their rooms into the concierge foyer - they filled the air. I asked what have you got on ? " We've got Moschino " they replied. I had to ask !..the smell was beautiful, magical spellbinding (not like a viva la juicy,couture thing if you get where im at) ready for a night out full of fun and promise.. Like Kama, this reminds me of a mix of frags - a healthy dose of Rykiel Woman (warm, peppery-spiced) blended with the big "perfumey" voice of scents like 24F, Boucheron, L'Heure Bleue. Enter the lavender. This brings a smooth, elegant, almost powdery floral aspect to the fragrance as it starts to transition into the mid and drydown.

Its a cologne without class, or character, and the opening is super harsh. I MEAN HARSH...The notes are low quality and its obvious from the first sniff that that is the case. A scent can be low quality and still be worth owning but this was almost offensive to my nose at times. I ended up giving it to my Nephew who is 16. If im going to wear a citrusy scent the citrus has to be done right or at least be passable based on the total construction of the scent such as in the case of 'Ultra Zest'. While it has a very fake orange smell it doesn't really matter because the rest of the fragrance is so well done. The people who hate on it hate it mostly because its too Amen-ish but the overall scent is much more pleasing to the nose than a scent like this. However, I have to admit that on the right skin with few sprays the dry down is not horrible though not memorable either. It's just not a fragrance I could recommend with a clear conscious even though its cheap. I would recommend trying it and if you can appreciate it go for it. But for me this is a no go.
