Hit the mark with the precision of the most accurate Nerf darts. The AlphaHawk blaster fires 1 dart at a time from a revolving, easy-load drum that holds up to 5 darts. Take aim and strike like a hawk! Includes 10 Elite foam darts that are designed for greater accuracy. Compatible with Elite darts (sold separately). This Accustrike Alphahawk set is an ideal gift for kids eight years plus. Hours of fun watching and exploring keep the kids busy and entertained. It is an ideal gift for your child, or grandchild for any occasion, Christmas or b-day.

Right, so let’s move on to what’s special about those AccuStrike darts. They have the same tubular foam body, but the rubber tip has been redesigned to have vanes like a turbine. These presumably make the dart spin a little as it flies, helping it achieve greater accuracy. However, I did discover that the AccuStrike darts don’t actually work with all NERFs. I tried them in a Stryfe, HyperFire, Tri-Strike and a Jolt and they worked perfectly. However, they didn’t play nice at all with the Zombie Strike Outbreaker Bow, Doominator or Doomlands Vagabond. The AccuStrike Series later was given a release under the N-Strike Mega series, with the Thunderhawk and the Mega AccuStrike Darts. It would also be released under the ULTRA series in 2021, with the AccuStrike ULTRA Dart, although there have so far been no dedicated ULTRA blasters released under the AccuStrike Series. The ‘barrel’ is quite unusual, in that it doesn’t make any pretence at being an actual barrel – it’s very wide open at the sides, more like some kind of shroud. This doesn’t make any difference to performance, though, since a proper barrel on a NERF blaster would just add friction, reducing range and power. The AccuStrike Series AlphaHawk blaster has a 5-dart, revolving drum so battlers can unleash 5 darts in a row without reloading. The blaster comes with 10 darts from the AccuStrike Series. Strike with confidence in Nerf battles and blast darts designed for greater accuracy. Pull the trigger and an AccuStrike dart flies out straight and true. What sets the AccuStrike ammo apart from standard NERF darts is that they do that consistently. You can actually group shots just inches apart from 20ft away, and with much less chance of a random ‘flyer’. They’re a big improvement on the standard darts – although still not quite as accurate as the golf-ball-shaped NERF Rival rounds, and with a less flat trajectory. CAUTION: Do not aim at eyes or face. TO AVOID INJURY: Use only darts designed for this product. Do not modify darts or dart blaster. Let me start off by saying AWESOME! This Nerf sniper rifle looks cool, shoots accurately, and shoots far! I personally like the iron sights on this better than any other Nerf gun I've looked down before. I'm going to list pros and cons below.

Launched in 2003, the products in the Nerf N-Strike series are among the most notable Nerf Blasters. These Blasters fire foam darts with rubber tips up to a range of 35 feet. This series is designed to resemble real-life munitions and offers customizable attachments, including scopes, shields, and barrel extensions. This series was replaced by the Nerf N-Strike Elite line in 2012, which upgraded to a direct plunger firing mechanism that launches darts up to 75 feet. Nerf launched the Rebelle series in 2013, which includes colors and designs marketed towards girls. In 2019, Nerf introduced the Alpha Strike series, which is a budget friendly Blaster. That same year, the Nerf Ultra was released and is claimed to fire ammo up to a range of 120 feet. I was a little worried about the durability of those tip mouldings, but to be fair I’ve pinged them all around the house and out in the garden, hundreds of times, and the tips still look as good as new.
