They made a base at Mount Olympus and eventually, they were able to chop up Kronos and send him and his brothers into Tartarus. Zeus had Atlas hold up the sky as it would crush the world without Koios, Krios, Hyperion and Iapetus. In a game, Zeus won the heavens to rule over, Poseidon won the sea, and Hades won the Underworld. Salty Poseidon liked winning the sea in that dice game. He used his trident to stir up hurricanes and summon tidal waves. Usually, he stays calm, riding his chariot pulled by hippocampi, but if he's not sacrificed to there's a chance he will destroy fishermen's ships. In Greek mythology, the Moirai were depicted as three women who controlled the thread of life, determining when it was spun, measured, and cut. Clotho spun the thread of life, Lachesis measured it, and Atropos cut it. Together, they determined the destiny of every mortal and god.

Hephaestus

Alrighty, SO This book has Just officially BLOWN my mind. I mean, come on, could this book be more Awesome than that, in any freaking way?? This was the HEIGHT of EPICNESS! In Greek mythology, Athena was the goddess of wisdom, warfare, and crafts, and was highly revered in ancient Athens. The Parthenon was built in the 5th century BCE as a temple dedicated to Athena, and it housed a large statue of the goddess made of ivory and gold.
