Vida is thrilled that she was right about Matoombo, while Xander is greatly relieved. Suddenly, Matoombo is hit with purple lasers all around him. Matoombo falls and rolls down the hill. Matoombo is dazed and wonders what had happened to him. Itassis and Gekkor walk up to Matoombo and question him as to why he had save the child. Itassis tells Matoombo the Master has chosen him to be his vessel. Gekkor questions whether Matoombo still works for the Master. Matoombo tells him he no longer works for the Master. Mystic Phoenix - Mystic Garuda - Mystic Mermaid - Mystic Sprite - Mystic Minotaur - Solar Streak - Catastros - Mystic Firebird - Mys tic Li on - Brightstar Inside Root Core, Jenji tries the laundry by using Fire Heart. Udonna and Daggeron are using the crystal ball to search for Leanbow without success. Udonna decides if she cannot find Leanbow from the outside, perhaps she should try from the inside. Udonna casts a spell and her spirit leaves her body. The new collection of Beast Morphers figures, Power Ranger zords and role play toys brings the latest season of Brightstar was known as "Steerdergon" and the Phoenix Unizord was known as the "Steerdergon Fury Megazord" in the toyline.

Hekatoid is the next Terror chosen to take on the Rangers, and they're more than eager to face him, for he also has Udonna as his captive! Although this episode mentions Daggeron's intention to train Chip to be a knight, this plot point is never brought up again and it is never mentioned what becomes of the training. Udonna frantically searches for a wounded Leanbow as the Rangers try to help a reformed Terror escape the others. Matoombo must escape or become the unwilling vessel to the Master.

At Root Core, Jenji is feeding Fire Heart. Daggeron tells Jenji that he is worried that Udonna and Clare may be in trouble. It's been several days and they haven't heard from them. The crystal ball alerts them. Daggeron and Jenji hurry over. It's Clare within the crystal ball. Clare tells them that Udonna has been captured by a large, blue toad. Daggeron tells Clare to return to Root Core. Clare refuses, she is determine to find Udonna and leaves before Daggeron can utter another word. With their powers stolen by Hekatoid, the Ranger teens find reassurance in the most unlikely of places. Meanwhile, Leelee, Clare, and Phineas attempt to rescue Udonna! And to top things off, the rest of the Terrors take turns trying to pry the Master's essence from an exposed Koragg. Phoenix Unizord is a combination of the Mystic Phoenix and Brightstar. Together they form the Phoenix Unizord. This Megazord is similar in power to the Centaurus Phoenix Megazord, and their moves are similar. In the pit, Imperious is pleased at how well his plan is working. Koragg walks in and Imperious questions him on why he didn't finish off Solaris Knight. Koragg replies that he only answers to the Master and walks away.

Of the Zords and Megazords in Mystic Force, the Unizord and the Phoenix Unizord are the Zords that have the least amount of appearances, as they appear in only 1 out of the 32 episodes of Mystic Force. The Phoenix unizord is also one of the few megazords in the series to be used only once.

On the train, Pink Ranger makes sure Matoombo is okay. They have just gotten settled when Gekkor appears. Vida battles Gekkor, determine not to let him harm Matoombo. Pink Ranger is not having much success. Matoombo tells his new friend to step aside and Matoombo blasts Gekkor. Vida opens the portal and Gekkor falls through the portal and floats in the unknown dimension. Gekkor vows he will find Matoomba and make him pay. In Magiranger, Wolzard can combine with Unigolon to form BraveKaiser, but it was never used. As such, no Wolf Unizord has appeared thus far. Following S.P.D., whose episodes had one word titles, Mystic Force's episodes (with the exception of The Snow Prince) all have two words in them as an in-joke to director Bruce Kalish.Gekkor, Sculpin, and Matoombo enter where Necrolai had found Leanbow. Sculpin demands that Leanbow appear, as they know he is here. Leanbow does not appear. Sculpin uses his staff and shatters the glass that kept Leanbow hidden from them. Leanbow tells them he knows why they have come. Sculpin demands that Leanbow release the Master. Leanbow tells them he doesn't think so. Legend says when the Darkness arises, five brave teen Sorcerers will be called to fight for the planet's survival. With guidance from their wise mentor and the ancient Xenotome, Book of the Unknown, they will embark on magical adventures, befriend mystical dragons, battle dangerous beasts, encounter pure evil, and transform into the Power Rangers Mystic Force. Meanwhile, Necrolai uses Sculpin's scale and she locates Leanbow. Necrolai gleefully flies away, anxious to tell Sculpin that she has found Leanbow. Elsewhere, Udonna is searching for Leanbow. There is a deep crevice and Udonna decides to descend into as she feels Leanbow is close by.
