About this deal

The Columbia Road Flower Market is one of those tourist activities you simply have to experience before you leave London. The abundance of floral arrangements at this iconic market makes for an excellent photograph, Markets like these are a big deal in London, so a walk down Columbia Road is a great way to experience London’s market scene in the East End. 12. Camden High Street Enjoyed reading about the most breathtakingly beautiful places in London? Pin it now, read it again later: There are loads of gorgeous stately homes around London but one of our favourites is Fenton House in Hampstead. Built by a wealthy 16th century merchant the house is now owned by the National Trust. Nearest stations are Victoria, Sloane Square, and South Kensington. 24. Berenjak, Soho Photo: Berenjak

A quintessential London neighbourhood, Notting Hill is a vibrant and bustling place to explore. Full of charming pastel-coloured buildings, the streets come alive with activity during the annual Notting Hill Carnival in August. Take some time to explore its beautiful grounds or admire its impressive architecture from afar. Another draw here is the beautifully painted halls of the Naval College. There are also plenty of things to do in Greenwich after exploring the college. Chalcot Square Gardens has vast stretches of lawn grass that have been carefully tended to, creating a tranquil space in Primrose Hill. 24. Ennismore MewsTake some time to marvel at the beauty of nature or visit one of its many attractions, such as Kew Palace and The Royal Botanic Gardens. Modelled on the hole-in-the-wall eateries of Tehran, Berenjak has a ravishing range of kababs, khoresht, and more Persian dishes available. If you can snag a seat in the Hayat, you’ll find a cosy, comfy space hidden behind a curtain, which really is the perfect hideaway to try everything on the menu. They’ve also got a late-night bottomless kebab menu – need I say more? Learn more here. London loves to show its bonkers side from time to time – resulting in gloriously bizarre places like The Churchill Arms. Yup, the design is A.O.K here. Branches of white petals extend across the upstairs restaurant (they’re even on the wallpaper), whilst the tiles in the downstairs bakery are equally swoonworthy. Come for breakfast, stay for lunch, and then load up on pastries – sorted! Read all about it here.

The Neo Byzantine architecture is rather… distinct. Plus there’s a viewing tower from which you can stuff your eyes with birds-eye views of London. St James’s Park Westminster Abbey is a stunning Gothic church located in central London. You can take a tour or self guideed tour to enjoy its beautiful architecture or explore its ancient grounds and tombs. Tourists have been known to snap photos of themselves in the exact same locations seen in the film. You can take a Notting Hill walking tour through the area to see each iconic location.

If you’re looking for a place that is both beautiful and colourful, then Chinatown is the place for you. Located in the heart of London, this neighbourhood is the perfect spot for some Chinese delicacies. Another of our prettiest restaurants that goes heavy on the plant life, Brother Marcus have just recently opened a branch in Spitalfields. It’s all very a e s t h e t i c, but perhaps even prettier is The Step Sister, a tower of sweet potato, courgette and feta fritters, avocado and kale, turmeric yoghurt and a poached egg which had our Georgie swooning. Read her review here. (Brother Marcus also now counts locations in Angel and Borough under their belt.)

Just north of central London is where you will find Primrose Hill. Enjoy the beautiful views of London’s skyline or take some time to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere. This is a perfect place for a picnic lunch or a romantic stroll through its lush gardens and grounds. Neal’s Yard is a hidden gem located in Covent Garden. This colourful and charming courtyard is home to independent businesses, including cafes, restaurants and artisan shops. Just between Kensington Park and Ladbroke Gardens, you’ll find the quiet and tranquil Stanley Crescent, one of London’s prettiest streets. This makes Leadenhall Market the perfect place to snap photos of a historical side of the city that few ever get the chance to see. Best seen during the weekend when crowds are at their fewest (this area is predominantly populated by city workers), the market was also the filming location for ‘Diagon Alley’ in some of the Harry Potter films! Ennismore Mews is another beautiful mews street lined with colourful houses that can be found in London’s Westminster Borough. The other day something in an old episode of In Our Time with Melvyn Bragg caught our attention (yes, sometimes a few of us like pretend we’re 90, wrapped up in a warm, cosy blankets listening to podcasts about the history London – we’re just * cool* like that). Whether you are here for one day, two days, or even 3, there is something to satisfy everyone. From tiny tourists to teens and adults.

The bridge lights up with a beautiful golden hue, making it an ideal spot for photography enthusiasts or anyone seeking a romantic moment.Camden Market is one of the best street food markets in London, as well as selling souvenirs, some vintage clothing, jewellery and all sorts of bits and bobs. The part of the market developed around the old stables is the one I find most intriguing.
