I would love to have some changes in the general starting plot especially because the cheating ex boyfriend really doesn’t do anything for the plot. Let’s just let her be single and not hurt by an asshole before.

So far I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait for the next couple and any & all other books in the series. Ryan is a romantic who's also sassy and Rhodes is a grump, who has some hidden soft parts. There were great friendships, some hilarious family members, adorable pets, and I just loved these two together once they allowed themselves to truly have a relationship and leaned into their attraction. I loved that this couple had some very vulnerable scenes together too, along with some hilarious bonding ones. Also, their physical chemistry was obvious from the first so despite initial rules about no sex happening, it was just themselves that were being fooled. They ended up with some spicy scenes together too.

The end of last season has been on perpetual repeat in my brain, and I’ve spent the entire drive thinking of all the things I could have done differently to not cost us the Stanley Cup. Finding out that their one night stand had created a baby it was fun to watch these two decide to raise the baby together without involvement. We all know that complications will arise and of course they did.

If you've read the entire series, you'd be aware that the last book ends with Miller introducing himself to a woman at a party, to the woman's annoyance. Ah, right, good old Grady Miller, forgetting that the girl he introduced himself to at the party and who also happens to sell the tastiest doughnuts, is present. Ever since Scout Thomas has ignored him and won't accept his apology. Nevertheless, Miller, being Miller, finds a way to win her over with his apology and attempts to win her over as a friend. I love the virgin trope when it’s the man, it’s less common and it really works in this story so well for me. I think it is impossible for Teagan to write a bad book. Every single one of them, in my opinion, is a winner. The third book in the Carolina Comets series featuring Lowell and Hollis is One-Timer. They met before, but he didn't recognized her so he had to grovel and he was actually feeling about it. His intention was never to get into her pants or anything but it eventually happened. He fell for her. pretty much every main girl has an ex boyfriend that cheated on her and is not confident at all in her body

Rhodes is an AMAZING and frankly unique guy. he's hot handsome and successful but you don't see a lot of mcs who have insecurities and are so comfortable to share it w the girl.I’ll take into serious consideration from now on that the girl who tried to run me over finds me annoying.” I enjoyed the development of Lowell and Hollis’s relationship as they came to terms with their reality. I really liked these characters, they were well suited to one another even though they don't see it. There were numerous moments were I found myself laughing so much that I almost cried as these two stumbled their way through their new relationship. She huffs out a laugh. “But I’ve never seen anyone wandering these roads before tonight, and well…” She lifts her shoulders. “Freaked me out. Probably because I was listening to Strange, Dark, and Mysterious.” From what we saw of Lowell in the previous books, he seemed like an intriguing character, so I was very excited about his book. Hollis and Lowell's story was so sweet, steamy, and funny, and I absolutely loved it. Their first encounter was so funny, and it immediately drew me into the story. I like the unexpected pregnancy trope, especially here because it was the main focus, and their relationship was built around it. Teagan Hunter never disappoints, and I think Carolina Comets is becoming my favorite series of her!!

I really don’t get how she even got to the conclusion that he’s only with her to lose his virginity. This book has great development. It's sweet to witness them build a friendship that eventually blossoms into a relationship. Both of them are still coping with issues that have severely harmed them. They agreed to co-parent after learning she was expecting. That would be the simple route for them because a relationship was out of the question at the start. The pain they were experiencing when they met didn't allow for a relationship at that time. It was decided that there would be no romance, no future, and certainly no kissing. Clearly, things did not go according to plan.
