About this deal

Discover the Salons Direct blog, your trusted source for industry news, product releases, how-to guides and more! Blue muse and clear look amazing, teamed with lilac! I created this ribbon-like vivid look with these shades, which is my favourite. The underlying pigment in the canvas plays a big part in the end result. Make sure to compensate in your formula or pre-tone the hair if needed to create your desired shade. We also recommend strand testing to ensure the best result. The lighter the hair, the brighter the result. Shades (including clear and noir) can all be mixed with each other to create custom colours and shades. Pulp Riot Facetime Education

Easier to Remove:Deeper shades fade over 42 washes, lighter pastels fade over 25 and neons fade over 25-30 washes. in the faction 8 range. It’s the perfect versatile neutral for brunettes wanting to go blonde or blondes going brunette! My favourite formula is Mercury, Blush and Powderbecause the colours sit so well together and create a beautiful palette of colours.

My favourite formula is vibrant blue shades. I used to pre-tone after a scalp bleach before mixing blue, but it always had a tiny shade of green underneath the surface. Instead, I found that if I just mix a purple/pink colour with the blue, that one will work as a pre-toner, contrasting the warmth completely and, consequently, no greenish shades at the end. So the result will be a pure, vibrant blue. My favourite formula is a mixture of all the shades from the Fantasy Collection; Pyro, Guardian, Elixr, Sorcery. This creates an awesome rainbow and the perfect summer festival look with some braiding.

When thinking of fashion colors, you want to be careful not to choose a color that will wash you out. Those with cool undertones have to be a little more careful and may look best with more pastel varieties, while those with warmer undertones can be a little bolder with deep, vibrant colors. Let’s look at some of the base colors and what undertone they’d be best on:

This also improves the contrast of green when the colour starts fading, not allowing it to become aquamarine but staying true to tone, becoming a more pastel blue wash after wash. My formula for the blue in the picture: Fresh hair after bleach level 9-10, ½ Nightfall& ½ Jam. For a deeper blue, I recommend 2/3 Nightfall& 1/3 Velvet. Kaye Sotomi of @chopchopldn – An experienced marketing and business development executive, Kaye is also the co-founder of Chop Chop. Cool: Many of the base colors lean more toward this category. Powder (light blue), Lilac (light purple), Mercury (light grey) and Blush (light pink) are vibrant yet cool and soft enough where they would joyfully accentuate a cool undertone. Nightfall (dark blue), Aquatic (medium green) and Velvet (dark purple) are still on the cool spectrum yet their depth might be too much for a cool, fair-skinned wearer, but a lovely option if slightly muted with Clear. Pulp Riot’s Semi-Permanent colour line is an industry favourite because it nourishes hair as it colours and uses a creamy, conditioning consistency that is a joy to work with. My favourite formula is creating my blank canvas with 10vol and domination highlights lifting to a level 9. Once lifted, I like to shadow it over with equal parts of Liquid Demi 5-8 & 6-1 and blend it into my ultimate favourite high-speed toner, which is Icy.

My favourite formula is 10-2& 10-03from the Liquid Demis! This creates the perfect clean and creamy bright Blonde! My Favourite formula is Clear mixed with a few drops of Fireballto create the most offensively bright neon pink. It’s a real show stopper! This Watermelon Sugar look is my favourite formula! I love how bright and summery it is, but also pastel used and subdued. I chose these colours because I thought it was a perfect mix of pastel with a hint of neon to keep it interesting and bright!
