About this deal

They can release a virulent discharge that wounds their enemies, but heals those aligned with Nurgle. [3a] Mount Leave the mold to cool so that the bluestuff hardens. If you don’t, when you press the other half of the mold together they might end up fusing together. I found that around thirty minutes was more than sufficient time for the bluestuff to cool completely. Everyone loves Putrid Blightkings – they hit hard, they look great and they’re a staple of any Nurgle army in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. But with so much detail, they must be hard to paint, right? Wrong – getting great results on your Putrid Blightkings is much simpler than you might think! Just follow the latest invaluable guide from all-round Warhammer mastermind Tyler: Another big vote for Gyros, and a smaller for Rangers. If they do go big with this unit and deathstar it, the same tactics used against the dreaded Gutstar work quite well as these dude are slower! Chaff 'em, chaff 'em, chaff 'em, and score points elsewhere.

If you play it well, this force has a wide variety of tools that include counters for almost anything you’ll run into in the meta. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and we saw some adjustments – reducing the consistency of the Locus of Diversion and lowering the ability to summon during the game. This, combined with the loss of realm artefacts, pushed the army down firmly into the fat middle.* They’re still competitive, despite not ruling the top tables anymore. Plague Drones represent the Daemon air force of Nurgle: Plaguebearers on top of a Rot Fly. Note that despite being Plaguebearers they have a different keyword and they don’t benefit from the same synergies. However, they can be battleline in a Droning Guard army where they receive -1 to hit against them the first turn or the turn they have been set up. This becomes relevant because a Lord of Afflictions can take them in reserve and then be deployed later on anywhere on the battlefield (outside of the canonical 9″ from enemy units).

Armour

Milliput is the easy one, it’s a two-part epoxy that can be used for sculpting. It’s similar to greenstuff but milliput has the advantage of being water soluble. Bluestuff is a thermoplastic molding material, which means that it becomes soft when it gets hot and can be used to make molds. The process is diabolically simple: The Putrid Blightkings are some of the most blessed of all of Nurgle’s mortal followers, beware if you see them on the field!

The Lurid Haze subfaction allows you to remove D3 friendly units from the table, keeping them safe as well as threatening your opponent Introduced in the new season of Warcry, Reactions are things that can be done in certain circumstances, but always during the enemy turn. They cost one action, so they can be used only by fighters that have not activated yet or are waiting. There are 3 universal reactions and one specific to each warband: Tom: Hello friends! This month marks the 6th anniversary of our weekly live show about Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and the Warhammer Community team gave us a chance to celebrate this milestone by talking about our favourite Chaos armies. To that end, Vince is going to be discussing Slaanesh (as if you could get him to stop) – and I’m going to be talking about Nurgle. But first, introductions!Mix up some milliput and press it into both sides of the mold, and press the mold together. The key is to get the right amount of milliput; too much and the molds won’t press close enough together, too little and you will have gaps in your cast. I found that about a half a centimeter of each of the milliput logs mixed together was enough. Nurgle Rotbringers, as all warbands, saw some sweeping changes in points (mostly down but the Lord of Afflictions went up 35 points). This is quite useful in ambushing tactics and combines well with Drowned Men trait, that protects Plague Drones with a -1 to hit against them the turn they are set up, or by giving a command trait like Overpowering Stench, that prevents nearby enemy units from issuing or receiving command abilities.

Some synergies are expressly mentioned like for example Horticulous Slimux and the Beasts of Nurgle, or Spoilpox Scrivener and the Plaguebearers, some can be easily found like increasing wounds characteristics on Plaguebearers or Blightkings, providing you with enough inspiration to have fun creating different rosters. The most courageous of those warriors undergo a rite called the Feast of Maggots: they willingly get infected with a maggot that will devour his host within 7 days. In that time the Blighking needs to find 77 followers of the other Chaos gods and infect them with the same curse. If he succeeds, he will be blessed with renovated vigour and a Rot Fly. Those cavaliers are thereupon known as Pusgoyle Blightlords. The Putrid Blightking with Blighted Weapon has the same weapon profile of the Icon Bearer and no special ability for 5 points less. But how do the Nurgle Rotbringers play on the tabletop in Warcry? If you have the stomach to continue, let’s have a look at the most disgusting details. Overview and Points for the Fighters in the Nurgle Rotbringers Warband The Lord of Afflictions is the most used Nurgle Mortal hero. Apart from his great versatility with 8″ flying movement, his best trait is the ability to be put in reserve with up to two units of Pusgoyle Blightlords or Plague Drones and reappear anywhere on the battlefield outside of the 9″ range from enemy units. The Sorcerer, with a Sorceress model available as well now, excels in debuffs: on a 5+ for each of the 3 dice rolled damages by 1 an enemy fighter and reduces the Toughness by 1 (to a minimum of 1). Maggotkin of Nurgle: Putrid Blightking Blightlord, 1 Pusgoyle Blightlord and 4 Putrid Blightking: with Sonorous Tocsin, Icon Bearer, with Filth-encrusted Shield and with Blighted Weapons. All conveniently in the Vanguard box (you have spare points for another Blightking but you’ll need to buy another box). Nurgle is the Chaos God of disease, pestilence, and decay. His followers, both mortal and daemonic alike, share the ‘blessings’ of their infernal master, displaying horribly bloated bodies that are infected with all manner of virulent contagions. They take great delight in spreading these ‘gifts’ to anyone and anything they encounter as they march across the Mortal Realms, leaving nought but corruption in their wake.
