About this deal

Whatever the application, the surfaces must be completely dry before treatment to allow Rempro to work effectively. Rempro thermal paint is an anti-condensation paint designed to stop mould and dampness by resisting the formation of condensation and mould on internal wall and ceiling surfaces. As condensation takes much longer to form compared to other paints, mould won't grow. You can get anti condensation paint in a choice of quantities such as 750ml, 1 litre, or 2.5 litres. Most of the buyers choose color randomly, go for their favorite color, or choose it according to the theme of their furniture or home. But this is not the right way when you are selecting a color of anti-condensation paint! This is because you have to keep in mind some prior things. Condensation is the result of hot moist air combining with air that is cold and dry. When the two meet and combine, drops of water form on the colder surface – i.e. your walls!

When incorporated into a paint film, glass microspheres act as miniature Thermos-like bottles, providing a thermal barrier between cold surfaces and the warmer ambient temperature within a living space. As the air is insulated against the colder wall surface, condensation and mould growth is drastically reduced. Another benefit of our paint is that it can be overpainted. Anti mould paints and anti-condensation paints that are hygroscopic (meaning they attract moisture from the air) cannot be overpainted. This is because the active film will be covered over if you apply a coating over the top. Rempro can be overpainted or wallpapered, which will not affect the performance. The texture of the paint is the concluding outcome that is left on your wall when the process is completed. This is because it is a significant factor that needs prior consideration. The innovative anti-condensation or anti-mold paints are available in the market with mixed textures in the coating. The form of texture offers a great representation of the surface. In our experience, the coverage of Rempro Thermal Paint (4-5m 2 per litre) was pretty much bang on, though other brands may vary of course. Number of CoatsWe looked into all sorts of different ways to resolve the problem, but adding wall insulation and re-rendering the house (the best option) is prohibitively expensive.

Moreover, after choosing a paint you have to estimate the amount concerning the area of coverage. You have to make sure that how many numbers of paint tins you need or which variant is enough. By doing this, there will not be any leftover or waste of money afterward. Oil paints or latex paints This is something we took great pains to do before deciding to give it a go. We’ve now joined the many happy homeowners who swear by the positive effect that anti-condensation paint can have in a troublesome room. Does Condensation Paint Really Work? We found the price of the paint wasn’t cheap and that led us to be cautious on how much we bought. However, we ended up regretting not buying enough to coat all our external walls, so I guess that means we think the higher price of anti-condensation paint is worth it! Quantity of Paint With so many options when it comes to the best anti condensation paint, you may struggle to work out which one to get.In general, these paints are used in areas including entrance walls, basements, bathrooms, or walls which are linked with water leakage or drainage systems. If there are not any condensation related issues then it is a waste to spend money on such paints without any sole purpose. Reduction or Elimination Add to standard emulsion paint and mix thoroughly until an even colour is achieved. Apply mixed paint as per the paint manufacturer’s instructions. You can use the anti-condensation paints on surfaces that carry a little bit of damp or humidity in different forms like water vapors. It works effectively in humid areas or the basement. But you can’t apply it on the surface from where the river is flowing and expect that it eliminates that water because it is just a coating, not magic. Texture of Paint

So, our experience of Rempro Thermal Paint so far had been excellent. So good, in fact, there haven’t really been any negatives to speak of. In short no. While the two types of paint have similar functions (to resolve a problem on walls caused by excess moisture), how they deal with the issue is different. Our thermal paint is a water-based internal emulsion which will significantly reduce condensation and mould by utilising Glass Microsphere Technology. Unlike other anti-condensation paints, Rempro paint does not contain any harmful biocides.

Firstly, the color should not be very light because it is transparent and shows the dripping of water from the surface. Secondly, the paint color should be as solid that it does not carry dirt or stains on it because it will look odd. Also, the color should cover the previous coating in one or two coverage. Price and Affordability

In addition, it can vary based on the quantity of paint in the can. So, make sure you look at pricing, but also take the other important factors into consideration. When incorporated into a paint film, glass microspheres act as miniature Thermos-like bottles, providing a thermal barrier between cold surfaces and the warmer ambient temperature within a living space. As the air is insulated against the colder wall surface, condensation and mould growth are drastically reduced. With the quality of the best anti condensation paint products on the market, dealing with condensation and mould issues has become far simpler.

The two terms have totally different meaning “reduction” and “elimination”. A buyer must keep in mind that anti-condensation paints reduce or lower the moisture or dampness in surfaces rather than totally removing or eradicating it from the affected surface. For us, a primer wasn’t required as the wall was already painted previously. However, we did do two coats as that was recommended by the manufacturer. If we had done fewer coats, the paint might not have worked as effectively as it does. Drying Time Our thermal paint is a water-based internal emulsion that will significantly reduce condensation and mould using Glass Microsphere Technology. Unlike other anti-condensation paints, Rempro paint does not contain any harmful biocides.
