Also included are 240 tensor cores which help improve the speed of machine learning applications. The card also has 60 raytracing acceleration cores. NVIDIA has paired 24 GB GDDR6 memory with the RTX 4500 Ada Generation, which are connected using a 192-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 2070 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2580 MHz, memory is running at 2250 MHz (18 Gbps effective). The Nvidia RTX A5500 will also appear in mobile workstations with 16 GB of memory and fewer CUDA, RT and Tensor cores. There are also five other new pro laptop GPUs including the RTX A500 (4 GB), RTX A1000 (4 GB), RTX A2000 (8 GB), RTX A3000 (12 GB) and RTX A4500 (16 GB). We put the RTX A4500 through a series of real-world application benchmarks, for GPU rendering and real-time visualisation. The NVIDIA RTX A4500 is a GPU that we first covered in 2021 in NVIDIA RTX A4500 20GB GPU. At the time, this GPU was launched with little fanfare, and so we wanted just to take a moment and do a mini-review for the card. This is a mid-range NVIDIA professional GPU that would have been a NVIDIA Quadro in previous generations before that branding was retired. We just wanted to say thank you to PNY for allowing us to borrow this card. NVIDIA makes the GPU itself, but some of the photos are tagged PNY since the company is a primary distribution partner for NVIDIA’s professional GPUs. With that, let us get to the review.
