About this deal

The biggest capacity gain is the design of the wheels. Normally, the wheel covers are recessed high into the suitcase body. This design sits lower and thus takes less room meaning more capacity. It is a small detail that makes a difference, a very typically Samsonite trait. It was robust and well built which attracted me to it. With a 4 wheel spinner, it was easy to maneuver. You need a (Samsonite) 4 wheel cabin luggage, mostly for lightweight use such as short business trips As the Prodigy has two sets of zippers: One for the just closing the luggage normally, and the one for expanding, this means you basically have two sets of zippers securing the contents as well! Which is nice for securing contents, but you still do have to open two sets of zippers if you choose to close both of them every single time. Build…. Quality?

So, this concludes the Samsonite Prodigy review. I hope you found it useful and helps inform your buying decision. The Samsonite Prodigy review should be the easiest review I ever write. We all know the quality and reputation of Samsonite…and for good reason. They are fantastic. With engraving, you can add your name or a personal message of up to 25 characters onto the metal of the suitcase handle. Engraving is available in different fonts. Most of the extra large suitcases are hardside spinners (4 wheels). When travelling with an oversized suitcase, it makes sense that you slide your heavy luggage beside you, rather than having to drag it behind you the whole time. Hardside luggage has the advantage that it's not susceptible to fabric tears and it's more water resistant when walking in the rain. For the digital nomads amongst us, it will also provide better protection for your tablet, laptop or any other electronic device. I wanted a suitcase that was a carry on that would be flexible to accommodate both my business and leisure needs.

Samsonite Luggage for Sale in Melbourne There is no exact science to this but you get that ‘feeling’ when you are using it. I have to say that I genuinely enjoyed travelling with my Samsonite Prodigy. The Samsonite Prodigy comes complete with a very useful front compartment. Designed to hold a laptop and a tablet, they are perfectly sized and padded to protect your valuables. And finally; not to sound like a Samsonite salesperson… but this is from my personal experiences: A good luggage is one of those things it’s worth to pay a bit more to get a proper one, rather than struggle with cheaper options and keep replacing them when they fall apart, making the cheaper ones the more expensive choice in the long run and your life that much more miserable. Inside the luggage you’ll find the design to be a bit ‘raw’ when compared to other manufacturers that line the insides with fabrics to cover all the screws and bolts… But in Prodigy everything is visible: All handles and wheels can be removed with a hex key or a torx bit easily – and this is of course convenient for replacing any broken parts. It also optimises the space because no space was wasted in hiding the bolts – as they really don’t need to be hidden from inside the case anyways.Another stylish and subtle suitcase personalisation option is engraving. With laser technology we can add your name or a personal message of up to 25 characters onto the metal suitcase handle. Engraving is available in different fonts.

I find the trolley pull handle still a bit wobbly like every other luggage I’ve owned – but it’s still better than the others I’ve had. (I’m not sure if there are any non-wobbly ones?) But that’s fine as you’re supposed to only pull the luggage from it, not carry it from the handle. And as for the carry handles they’re very comfortable and have a hard topside but a rubbery and soft underside which makes for a very nice handle. I would always recommend a Polycarbonate suitcase as it gives you strength and texture to the surface of hard side luggage. The Samsonite Prodigy has fared well in this review as it has served me well over the last few months. It has shown itself to be a very durable piece of luggage which has been flexible enough to serve my business travel and leisure needs. A good review helps with that decision-making process and a more in-depth review will help even more. In this review, I will cover off the main areas that you need to know about. I will give you some details that you might want to consider and what to look for. My requirements were mainly business related. I travel for work…a lot. Mainly short internal flights with an overnight stay. I therefore only use carry on luggage. It needs to look smart enough to wheel into an office environment without raising eyebrows, but flexible enough to allow me to travel with ease. The super-light ranges like Neopulse and B-Lite have taken buyers away from traditional Samsonite hard-shell cases like these. Things have turned around, now it is hard-shell cases like this one which are unusual!
