Sense-U has won awards for its baby thermometer and breathing monitor, as well as its innovative baby monitor swaddle blanket, so I was quite excited to get my hands on the Sense-U Video Baby Monitor, expecting a very high-tech device. This item is the most basic and affordable monitor in the company’s range, with others having extra features such as a device that clips to the baby’s clothing to monitor their breathing, temperature and sleep position, or a pan and tilt camera you can adjust via your phone. You can view the footage via the connected app at any time, from anywhere, even if the internet goes down at home. You can use both the monitor and app to talk to your little one, as well as keep an eye on the temperature and humidity in their room. I give it 4 stars as there were a few little glitches I’ve notice that could be even better!! Overall I absolutely love it though! As a mom it gives me a peace of mind knowing that my baby is sleeping well and breathing/temperatures are normal. Of course I’m still looking at the app like constantly because that’s what a mom does. The two things I’ve notice as far as glitches and if possible maybe it could be provided in the next updates are...
Each have bundles offering audio and video monitoring that work together with separate breathing monitors. The Sense-U breathing monitor collects multiple statistics about your baby’s well-being included core information such as their temperature and breathing rate. Also, these monitors might lead to unnecessary worry. They can have false alarms, causing you to worry and lose even more sleep. Some parents report that they feel more fear and anxiety with the monitors than without them.

How long should you use a baby breathing monitor? Keep the baby icon in the same direction as your child's body direction to avoid unexpected readings and notifications. As it monitors baby from directly above the crib, it has a complete and unobstructed bird’s-eye view. There’s also no more balancing of the unit on books or nightstands to get the best angle. The Baby device shows as Disconnected in the app. STEP 1. If the Base Station's indicator shows solid YELLOW dot, it means the Baby device is disconnected from the Base Station.
