About this deal

I was disappointed with the 8m cable that comes with the Shark NV601UKT. I did find myself unplugging more than I used to, and while it wasn’t a massive downside, it could have done with the extra length. The NV601UK includes LED headlights which help light up dark spaces. As a result, it makes concealed dust and pet hairs visible.

So, what’s the difference between the Shark NV601UK and NV601UKT? Well, there’s only one primary thing separating the two. Although it may not seem critical, the more times you have to either empty a canister or replace a dust bag the more time and money, in the case of bagged vacuums, it will cost you. It can also be just one more thing you have to do before you can get cleaning which could put you off cleaning entirely. The filter is the classic foam one we see in pretty much every Shark vacuum cleaner, and it is just as massive and ready to absorb unnatural amounts of dust. The instruction manual that comes with it is also very simple to follow, and I had this model put together in no time at all. All you need to do is snap the handle and the main body together and, BAM, it’s all ready to go. Lastly, the Shark NV601UK boasts some extra tools which allow you to get the most out of the cleaner. These convenient accessories include:

Another minor difference involves the colours. The NV601UK is electric blue, whereas the NV601UKT comes in a striking shade of Bordeaux. Even more impressive, the Robovac 11 boasts a remote control that uses two AAA batteries. Besides remote control, it also features a high-performance filter, AC power adapter, cleaning tool and a charging base. It was really easy to use and handle, but also did well cleaning the carpet on the stairs with the upholstery tool and the pet tool (I will talk about the latter in the next section). The power was great, and it was just a very simple job with no stress. The sponge slides out of the unit and can be washed with water, and the little filter we see underneath that can be washed in the same way.

Even handling the most demanding cleaning tasks will be only a matter of minutes rather than ‘forever.’ All thanks to its advanced swivel steering design. In this review, we’ll dive into details entailing the vacuum’s key components, its specifications and our final verdict regarding the appliance. Embark on this journey with me, and be sure to make a well-versed decision with your money. Let’s get right into it! Performance One of the biggest benefits of a Shark vacuum cleaner is that it sports a fully sealed system in addition to the HEPA filter. This means that no air will escape from the machine and that those who have asthma and allergies will absolutely benefit from this. Our Filtration Test Results

Warranty: Shark promises a 5-year guarantee that comes with the appliance. Registering for the warranty is necessary to cover any issues that may arise. The appliance includes a 1.6-litre dust canister. This size is quite impressive as it’s much more than what most cordless vacuums offer. Being a bagless vacuum cleaner, the NV601UK can get slightly messy as far as emptying the collected dirt is concerned. However, it does include a one-button functionality which reduces the risk of dust scattering everywhere. The unit also features a spongy filter with HEPA qualities. As such, it is excellent for absorbing massive amounts of dirt alongside other contaminants. Maintaining the HEPA Filter To test how the Shark VN601UK/T was able to cope with pet hair, we took a five-foot strip of carpet and combed actual dog hair into it. Then, we went over it with the upright vacuum cleaner for 20 seconds to see how much it was able to collect. It comes in at 6.6kg with all the tools onboard, but you are pushing and pulling this weight as opposed to lifting it, so you don’t necessarily feel it as much. Without the tools attached, it comes down to 6.2kg. In its lift away form, it is much lighter at 3.5kg. Well, not many people like cleaning during their free time as there are way more fun things to do. Nonetheless, the task gets even worse and exhausting when you are using a sophisticated vacuum machine. To avoid this, Shark made sure that the NV601UK is convenient and straightforward to use.

Despite the unit’s remarkable versatility and design, you might not like how small its dust canister is. It’s not as big as other models and may require you to empty it more often; let’s say, every time you vacuum your house. Nonetheless, emptying the Shark NV601UK is super easy, which makes thesmall dust canister not that of a big issue.
