About this deal

I Washed the car and its wheels about a week ago to get rid of all the surface mud, grease and dust then The bottle I received leaked in its bag it came in , It happens...… The Major fault with this product is that the spray bottle leaks on to your hand as you spray from the spray trigger I just decanted it into another functioning spray bottle. Its usually on offer which would make it a great value wheel cleaner for general cleaning, especially with its good performance on cleaning tyres but would need something more effective like Autoglym Wheel Cleaner or a specific Iron Remover for neglected wheels or larger vehicles which put out a lot of brake dust.

When using polish to remove old car wax, start by cleaning your car thoroughly from boot to bonnet. Then, using a soft microfibre cloth, apply the polish panel by panel, using a circular motion to work the product deep into the paintwork and lift any remaining residue. Specialist Car Cleaners I put the Simoniz Wheel Cleaner up against a BMW M6 as I wanted to see how well it work on a fairly heavy, German, luxury car aka the ultimate brake dust creator! Glass cleaner: If you’re dealing with wax on glass or plastic surfaces, reach for a product such as Simoniz Clear Vision Glass Cleaner. If you’re a regular Simoniz blog reader, you’ll know that we’re big advocates for regular waxing. So, isn’t it counterintuitive to write a guide on how to remove wax from your car?

ACTIVE COLOUR CHANGING FORMULA – Strong reactive iron fallout remover that reacts with metal particles and loosens them changing colour to a red colour as it works indicating it is working hard to get your wheels clean! Before you apply a fresh coat of wax to your car, it’s important to make sure there are no traces of old wax on the paintwork. This is important for a few reasons, including: I found the stream mode is a more like a direct ‘jet’ which could be useful if you’re trying to clean your neighbours wheels from your own drive but unnecessary for general use. What sets our Waterless Wash and Wax product apart from other waterless car cleaners is that it contains carnauba wax – the same ingredient used in our other wax-based products. That means you won’t only clean your car but protect it too, all in one product. For some valeters the only way to clean wheels is to remove them from the car. If you don’t have the time or inclination, use a long brush to clean the inner rim. How we tested themStep 3 –With the brush head tool, give the seats a good rub, working the product into the fibres of the fabric. When you’re happy you’ve covered all areas, leave the product to work for a couple of minutes. pH NEUTRAL – Our engineered formula is pH neutral so will not remove any polish or wax that has been previously applied. It is suitable for coated, waxed or sealed finishes. Step 2 –Apply a small amount of leather cleaner into the applicator cloth, and press together to spread the product evenly. Then, begin working the cleaner into every part of the seat, starting with the headrest.

TIP: A general rule in detailing is to treat all products like its worth a thousand pounds, this gives you an idea of how much to use if it were that expensive as less-is-more with most car care products. Simoniz Wheel Cleaner Test Upholstery cleaner – Simoniz Upholstery & Carpet Cleaner features a handy brush head tool that works the product deep into the fibres, lifting stains and odours. If you’re not familiar with clay bars, we’d recommend getting a starter kit that contains everything you need including a clay bar, lubricant and instructions. It’s critically important to clean your car thoroughly before using a clay bar, and you must also keep the area you’re working on well lubricated, otherwise, you might end up with poor results. Light scratches and swirl marks will still be visible in the old wax and will be more difficult to remove beneath a fresh coat It is a non-aggressive, acid-free wheel cleaner that reacts with contaminating irons and changes colour to indicate when it is ready to be agitated and washed off. You need to repair the clear coat layer; old wax can prevent new sealants from bonding to the surface of the paintwork They aren’t the worst wheels I’ve come across but certainly dirty enough to test a new wheel cleaner.
