About this deal

I tried this for a couple of weeks, and used it for all three of the purposes stated on the tube. And it was fine. What's more, the anti-aging effectiveness is not the only questionable thing about RP. It also exibits questionable behaviour in the presence of UV light and was the center of a debate between the non-profit group, EWG (whose intentions are no doubt good, but its credibility is often questioned by scientists) and a group of scientists and dermatologists lead bySteven Q. Wang, MD, director of dermatologic surgery at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre. So, what DOES it do? A little bit of everything, really. This is a three-in-one moisturiser, primer and face mask, and the ‘In Transit’ part of the name is inspired by the idea that it’s the perfect product for travel, given that you’re essentially getting three separate products in one single tube/application. You agree to indemnify and hold Space NK (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers, including but not limited to Bazaarvoice, Inc.), harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

The only good thing we can write about Ascorbyl Palmitate is that there is an in-vitro (made in the lab, not on real people) study showing that it might be able to boost collagen production.

Firstly, it's stability is only similar to that of pure ascorbic acid (AA), which means it is not really stable. A great study in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology compared a bunch of vitamin C derivatives and this derivative was the only one where the study said in terms of stability that it's "similar to AA". Not really that good. Dr. Leslie Baumann wrote a great review of the debate and summarized the research available about retinyl palmitatehere. It seems that there is a study showing RP being photo protective against UVB rays but there is also a study showingRP causing DNA damage and cytotoxicity in association with UVA. When your brand has a name like ‘This Works’, you have to be pretty damn sure your products will, you know, work. Otherwise you’re basically just inviting people to respond with, “Er, actually, no it doesn’t”: which is pretty much what my mum said when she handed her tube of This Works In-Transit Camera Close-Up over to me a few weeks ago. When it comes to the pretty promises about making the skin even, plump and bright then here where this product fails me. I really haven’t noticed any changes while using it – my skin isn’t brighter or look more radiant. Also, I don’t like it as a primer. It just feels like any other moisturising cream and it doesn’t do anything special.

Skin solutions that are with you for the long haul, to make you feel and look good on every occasion. Apply this works In Transit Camera Close-Up to clean skin, including eye area, and massage gently until absorbed. Skin will feel slightly dewy and perfectly prepped for make-up. Can be used on top of your regular moisturiser. Ingredients I don’t like layering many products on my face pre-makeup. As an oily skinned gal I find it really easy for products to make my skin feel heavy and my skin get greasy feeling or looking faster. So the fact that this is a three in one is already a plus as there are less steps that need to be taken. For me as someone who really doesn’t like something really intense and heavy I like it and it does the job enough for me – it’s on the lighter end of the spectrum for hydration and if you were someone with dry skin I don’t feel like this would do enough. Whether home or away, protecting your skin with the best sun protection cream is essential. Although it’s such an important part of daily skincare to protect from harmful rays and prevent signs of premature ageing, many people shy away from using SPF (especially under makeup) because they don’t like the white cast or greasy feeling sunscreens can often leave on the skin. In transit skin defence SPF30, is an antioxidant non-comedogenic cream, meaning it has no white residue and is a broad-spectrum moisturiser that protects from UVA light that can cause premature ageing and UVB light associated with burning and sun damage. It works for all skin tones and sensitive skin, and hardworking Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and restoring plant oils soothe redness and even tone. A must-have product for all types of travel and outdoor days at home, this SPF is a game-changer for those who want to prioritise protection. In transit skin defence SPF 30 works with both in transit no traces cleansing pads and in transit camera-close up and is the perfect last step in your travel skincare routine.Overall I feel that this works In Transit Camera Close-Up isn’t for me. I know that some people love it and it’s basically their HG product, but for me, it’s nothing special and I would never buy it again.
