About this deal

Closer than ever to reaching the Allspark, the Decepticons awakened after crash-landing on pre- Ice Age Earth. While battling the Autobots, both sides were joined by the Maximals and Predacons, their epic battle changing their combined destinies. A smaller, Hot Wheels/Matchbox-sized version of Barricade is also available. This version features only the robot mode's face sculpted underneath, and still includes the removable cannon. In a new, garish universe, Barricade deduced Hun-Gurrr's true intentions and subsequently convinced Hun-Gurrr to team up. Dismissing the current universe due to its colors giving him a headache, Barricade and Hun-Gurrr departed once more. Arriving in another universe, the duo witnessed the local Megatron and concluded that they had found an ideal candidate. Worlds Collide

On Cybertron, Bonecrusher was actually quite a skilled tactician—dedicated to the art of war, a fast thinker who could plough into battle while others were still mapping out strategy, and, most importantly in Megatron's eyes, a masterfully dirty fighter. However, Bonecrusher's skills left him consigned to a supervisory position and kept him off the battlefield, which, of course, he hated. Naturally, this only helped to increase his already epic levels of frustration and misery at his lot in life, until he became what he is today. [1] He's so intensely pent-up that he'll unflinchingly take on opponents of any size—the bigger the better! Bonecrusher wouldn't hesitate to confront Optimus Prime head on, if he could. During the ensuing battle, Starscream finally claimed the AllSpark from Bumblebee, and Barricade stood against him, intent on bringing him in for treason. Alas, the AllSpark-powered Starscream destroyed Barricade, but in death, Barricade proved to the Create-A-Bot what it truly meant to be a Decepticon. Transformers: Decepticons Bonecrusher's toy was used as a prop for a CNN Headline News report demonstrating the real Buffalo vehicle's mine-sweeping arm. [5]Barricade subsequently reappeared in several further IDW comics before returning to the screen in Dark of the Moon, where he lost his eyes and leg by NEST soldiers before disappearing, presumably killed by NEST or the Autobots.

After Optimus Prime killed Bumblebee, Barricade avenged, but was no match for the power of dark energon. When reporting in to Orion Pax and Chromia, Bumblebee learned that Barricade was partially responsible for Rubble's murder, infuriating him. After Barricade had relocated to one of The Rise's secret bunkers, Flamewar played a prank on him by directing him to the wrong personal quarters. He ended up entering Shadow Striker's room and was promptly and forcefully ejected by her, much to Flamewar's amusement. The Change In Your Nature Part Three A non-transforming Saleen S281E police car that mechanically opens its panels and reveals hidden weapons at the push of a button. A picture of Frenzy appears on the screen of Photon T-34. Judging from his pose and the readouts on the screen, Photon did something to slag him off. Barricade is seen during the final battle taking place at Stonehenge, but he disappears and it is unknown if he survived at all.

Hasbro SDCC 2017 IDW Revolution Boxset

Ultimately, this shows that Earthrise Runner is probably the first time a character introduced in Generation 1 gets a name change for reasons other than trademark or issues with the name in other markets. In this case, a later character with that name has effectively supplanted them as "the" character associated with the name. Therefore, Hasbro wanted to keep the two characters definitely distinct. Helpfully, this version of Barricade already had a preexisting alternate name originating in the Dreamwave Generation One continuity. Frenzy is small, sneaky, skittering, and single-minded. His hyper-active twitching and lightning-speed gibbering in his own tongue belie incredible espionage and sabotage skills, but it is in causing chaos and carnage that Frenzy truly excels. This creepy little abomination is the best there is at what he does and approaches his tasks with a level of sinister glee that makes it hard to deter him from a course of action once he has settled upon it. Bonecrusher's head design in the Planetfall prequel comic appears to be based on a particular early concept art or a similiar one for the 2007 movie. Supercharged by the AllSpark, Barricade gained the ability to disguise himself, becoming almost impossible to detect among similar human law enforcement vehicles. This superpower gave him opportunities to cause havoc among the Autobots' human allies. Allspark-Enhanced Barricade
