He has become obsessed trying to find the woman he has such a connection. I loved Aria and her struggles to find normalcy after finding both of her parents murdered in a home invasion. But, that vulnerability led to her being taken advantage of because she was tired of feeling broken.Overall there was some cute scenes but it just wasn’t for me, the characters weren’t enjoyable half the time they were so frustrated I wanted to bang their heads together (mainly the main characters. I will be reading the brothers book because I want to see if it gets any better and I really did like Noah.

I HATED Brad from the first sentence he was mentioned. I knew immediately what he was doing, but it was only the beginning of his sins. He deserved much more than the punishment he received. But no, the heroine had to take it a bit further by verbally harassing a rape victim, cause the rape victim reacted in an UNDERSTANDABLE way towards the hero... And then I read that this series was indeed under another name called Mayhem, but the more I kept reading the more I came to conclusion that I’m just getting it mixed up with another book that had some similarities, because I would’ve remember a bitch Kate in any book!When he saw Aria in action, he had no choice but to offer her a job and a place to live at his penthouse in Silicon Valley. But Aria has a dark secret. There was a plot but I couldn’t tell you the point of it. Nothing was happening at all up until 75% where 4 different things started happening and I didn’t know where to focus, I was considering dnf at around 50%. A bit to many spice scenes at inappropriate times and none was that detailed it was always the same thing so I would’ve been fine with only one tbh. However I did enjoy the whole ‘nyx nemesis’ platform! I got told this was grumpy x sunshine but it wasn’t which was also disappointing. Very thankful the chapters was so short. I love how Catharina Maura doesn't just like steamy romance but also tells a relatable and raw story. A fiction that doesn't gloss over real-life's issues. So you don't read it feeling incredulous, saying because the characters are as flawed as they are as adorable.
