The Verm-X product has garlic in it. I thought this was toxic to Cats and Dogs?The Verm-X range does contain garlic but the quantities are small and therefore generally safe to use. For example, in a small dog e.g 10kg bodyweight, 50g of garlic would need to be fed to cause toxicity. Our dose is 0.036g daily, which equals 0.072% of the toxic dose. Doseage: Add 2.5g per bird per day as a top dressing to their regular feed ration. A 250g tube of pellets will last 5 birds over 6 months.

Pellets offer a great alternative to liquid Verm X as they can easily be mixed into feed. The pellets are also popular for adding into grapes and feeding directly. Puppies should be fed half the adult amount between three to six months of age, and the full amount thereafter. For continued effectiveness, feed daily. When introducing Verm-X, or when required, double the quantity can be safely fed over 14 days. As their effect is cumulative, use the daily crunchies for at least 3 weeks before doing a follow up FEC.
