The real showstopper for this cake is the ivory chocolate drip, and it’s made with melted ivory candy melts and warm water. It’s poured into a squeeze bottle to make it easy to drip down the sides of the cake. The key to making this cake look like a melted candle is the freezing of the cake after two layers. The freezing helps keep the drip from melting together, so it becomes more distinct as a candle. Add a second and third layer of ivory ganache around the edges of the cake. Build layers upon the previous ganache layers.

This time it's a range of scented candles for Easter that shoppers are currently obsessing over and comparing to the American candle company. I realise fudge can be scary, as I’ve said before, but it is so worth the scary moments, and its so worth investing in a sugar thermometer (which are relatively inexpensive these days!!). Turn the mixer to medium-high and beat the frosting for about 5 minutes until light and fluffy. Turn the mixer on low and mix for 2 minutes to push out any air bubbles.

Supplies

This Melted Candle cake is made with four tender semi-homemade vanilla cake layers filled with creamy vanilla buttercream and white chocolate ganache dripping down the sides. Because of this, I decided I couldn’t wait any longer to add my new recipe to my collection of fudge recipes– this delicious white chocolate fudge!!I have made many a fudge recipe in my time, some ending up grainy, some not setting at all, and some being downright strange – but this one is creamy, delicious, the perfect soft:hard ratio, and is utterly scrumptious. HELLO HEAVEN! A single batch of this cake recipe makes three, 6-inch round cake layers or two 8-inch round cake layers. Double the cake recipe to make enough cake batter for three, 8-inch cake layers. Get a piece of plastic sheet the same size as the baking paper you used for the mould and cover it in white chocolate. In a medium glass bowl, melt ivory chocolate candy melts and water in the microwave. Heat for 30 seconds at a time until the chocolate candy melts have mostly melted.

Remove the cake layers from the freezer and unwrap the cake layers. Next, use a serrated knife to cut off the dome of the cakes to make the layers flat and even. The first time I saw all the Home Bargains candles was just a few weeks ago in the Edmonton Home Bargains store, and when I saw all the scented candle brands and collections there were in-store, believe me; I became all kinds of crazy. I haven’t seen that many overviews of the collection of Home Bargains candles available at the moment, so I thought I’d share with you the pictures I’ve taken at the super budget shop in London. I am so excited to share this cake tutorial with you because I genuinely believe anyone can make this cake if you’re willing to try! I’ll be with you every step of the way! I’m saying the UK because I’m not even sure that you can get the Home Bargains candles anywhere else in the world, so whoever is looking for cheap candles in London and UK cities, you’d do well to pay a visit to Home Bargains. After you mix the ivory water ganache, then pour the chocolate into a squeeze bottle for a comfortable grip for decorating. If chocolate drip becomes too cold and hardens, then heat in the microwave for 5-10 seconds, shake or stir to make sure it’s all the same temperature. Don’t overheat or chocolate will separate, and you’ll have to remix. You can bake the cake layers ahead of time. Wrap the cake layers in plastic wrap and freeze up to one month.
