This DVD is a great way to explore life in the WWF during the years 1993 and 1994. That being said, if you enjoy this and think “I’ll watch more 1993-4 matches on the WWE Network”, you’ll soon find that this DVD pretty much showcases the ONLY great matches or moments from this period, save for a few exceptions (mostly involving Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels in some way). To be fair, this was still the 5-PPV’s-a-year phase, so Survivor Series aside (which isn’t covered on the 1994 disc either), every supercard is covered in some way. The 1993 disc does a better job of actually providing a Year In Review month-by-month, although the 1994 section actually spotlights the biggest matches of the annum under scrutiny. They also do not feature the WWE watermark and digital on-screen graphics like more recent WWE Home Video releases do. They do however contain the watermark and digital on-screen graphics for the specific time frame. For instance, there is no watermark used up to 1994, past that; the Golden Era logo is used, then the New Generation Era logo from 1995 onward, and finally the scratch logo for all the Attitude Era discs. Silver Vision have just announced their latest WWE Tagged Classics set, to be released in UK/Europe. and hundreds more would follow! What’s missing from your WWE DVD collection? Speaking of someone who didn't benefit from his WWE overhaul. Poor DDP! This match was utterly pointless and I think the entrances were longer than the match. This is not a team that I would ever think would exist: Lesnar and Stasiak? Really? To be honest this probably should have been a two on one match just to show how dominant he was. This was an odd match. I just don't know whether I enjoyed it or not. Going into the match you know that Lesnar could easily take both of them out on their own and watching him bulldoze through each Hardy is a little awkward at times. Still as a display of Lesnar's awesome power it is a great match. Wow! Worth watching for the Puppies alone (and that includes the excellent interview with Terri beforehand). A good match from all and one of the best endings to a Divas match I have ever seen and they didn't even have to strip off for it! Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan - The Immortal One vs The Immovable Object! Hard to believe that the relatively new superstar The Undertaker would be in the main event at one of the biggest events of the WWF calendar. This proved to be one of Hulk's biggest tasks, to beat the unbeatable. A limited amount of Tagged Classics were released in the United States, spanning the years 2003-2005 and in Canada; 2002-2005, these sets were not produced by Silver Vision. They included present WWE PPVs 'tagged' together. For example, Royal Rumble and No Way Out 2003. Coupled on the second disk are Big Daddy Cool Diesel and Oozing Machismo! Razor Ramon. I understand why they were included, though you would have thought including one of the early Hogan videos would have made sense too. However, these two are the typical 'Best ofs' that WWE used to produce that are essentially just a collection of five matches from Diesel and nine from Razor Ramon. Both are nothing special, but do include some great matches like Diesel vs. Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and the highlight from the Razor Ramon side is of course the ladder match against Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania X.

One of the best matches I have seen from either of these guys. They worked so well together that I wonder why when Guerrero was world champion WWE didn't match them up (I get the feeling that RVD was injured at the time though). This was just a perfect match from both and despite the obvious Heel/Face alignment you couldn't help but route for either of them. How the mighty had fallen! In 2001 Booker T was the main star of WCW and Five Time, Five Time, Five Time, Five Time, Five Time WCW World Champion. The Hardcore Championship was something of a joke and this match though fun was not as exciting as some and rather than being the OTT Hardcore match it became more of a run of the mill wrestling match. It did have a fun extreme ending though. The debut of Scott Hall in WCW is shown in full and it is funny that I have no idea who was in the match he interrupted. However, his promo including the infamous 'You wanna war? You're gonna get one' line is just amazing. Kevin Nash's appearance and his powerbombing of Eric Bischoff was amazing and the lead up to Bash at the Beach was so well planned that when people criticize 'The Invasion' from 2001, this is the reason. By having two men look so dominant and by turning Hulk Hogan, WCW had the greatest story either company had ever created.

Your Opinions and Comments

Undertaker vs. Kamala - This was the first ever Casket Match and the rules stated that the winner would be the man who pinned his opponent and then place him into the casket, closing the lid. Austin 3:16 Uncensored, Three Faces of Foley, Chris Jericho: Break Down the Walls & Kurt Angle: Its True, Its True Yokozuna vs. Virgil - A very odd match, a huge 500 pound man versus a small and quite inexperienced rookie.

WWE Tagged Classics was a series of two-disc DVD sets produced by Silver Vision and World Wrestling Entertainment for retail markets in Region 2 in PAL format. The majority of sets in the series feature a WWF/E pay-per-view event from one year on one disc, " tagged" with another disc that featured the same event from the following year, or two consecutive pay-per-views. The first Tagged Classics DVD set released was WrestleMania 1 and 2 in 2004 and the last to be released was UK Fan Favourites 1993 & 1995 in 2012. No extras came with this DVD which is a shame. One thing I will say about both DVDs that is a little odd is that when you skip a match the promo piece that hypes up the match is actually the last part of the previous chapter. This is annoying, especially if you have a habit (like me sadly) of skipping a match if it's a wrestler I don't enjoy or if I'm not enjoying the match. It would have made more sense to include these as a separate chapter or to include it at the beginning of that particular match. A great match. Watching a match like this you can understand why both are now main eventers in the WWE. This was a great cage match and though I would have preferred them to have had a ladder match this was still great and such a wonderful way to end the match. Austin 3:16: Uncensored ·Three Faces of Foley ·Chris Jericho: Break Down The Walls ·Kurt Angle: It's True, It's True Yes you read that correct. WCW Champion Kurt Angle? However this was a great match. Of course it was, look at who is wrestling. I don't think Angle and Jericho could have a bad match and this is certainly a great technical match from them both.

WWE DVD List 1999-2022

Flair, The Mountie, DiBiase & Warlord vs. Roddy Piper, Bret Hart, Virgil & The British Bulldog - A real battle between feuding superstars in this one. Bulldog, one of the very few men to break out of Warlord's punishing Full Nelson. Virgil, the former bodyguard (slave) of DiBiase. Prior to losing the production and distribution licenses for WWE Home Video, Silver Vision released the WWF Attitude Collection box set in 2002, as with the Tagged Classics series, this set was also a direct VHS-to-DVD re-release with no editing. Overall the PPVs are pretty good but its a shame that by 1992 they had stopped producing a line-up of elimination matches. Also it would be great if they had added special features. However these are still classics and contain matches that were the key to some careers. It's odd how the Divas from 2001 are not only so much hotter than they are in 2011, but also so much better in the ring too. Lita and Molly do most of the great work, but Stacy and Torrie certainly give each team a certain something. The match is not exactly a five star classic, but compared to the matches I have had to watch from the Divas over the past year by comparison this match was great. Also any time I can watch Trish Sis a good match in my book. The future of the Tagged Classics series is uncertain due to Silver Vision and WWE parting ways at the end of 2012. [1] As of 2013, the current licensee, Fremantle, have said they will consider producing similar programming. However, nothing has come of this since.
