There isn't too much to say about the design. The watch looks like an AE-1200 as it should and is one that I really like and find cool. The AR-1200WH has massive text on the outer parts of the case. I wasn't a fan, and found a way to get rid of it. Doing some looking online, it turns out that a simple pencil eraser will remove that text, so I did it. Overall, I love the cleaner look on this specimen. This has become my "special" of my two watches, which I generally wear when I want to be a teeny bit more flashy. A Casio Royale & Smith Model 15. The Casio AE1200WHD-1A has a slightly rectangular case shape which is as taken directly from the 80s. The case has a diameter of 42mm and a length of 45mm, but bear in mind that due to the shape of the case, it will depend on how you measure it.Daily Alarms: Each will sound every day at the time you set, Hourly time signal: The watch beeps every hour on the hour Officially, the watch is a part of Casio's World Time series. This comes across very clearly in this watch. The splitting of the screen is mostly done with this function in mind. The top left circular section always shows your home time. While the small section at the top right is there for the mute indicator, the section under it shows a world map and highlights the selected time zone, which is used in some of the functionality. Overall the mod kit does what it needs to do. It turns an otherwise great plastic watch into something that is built much better.

The first thing I noticed was how light the Casio is. I think the battery may well be the heaviest part of this watch. For those of us accustomed to wearing automatics and big divers, it can be a little disconcerting, particularly since it doesn’t look small. It is nearly 42mm wide, excluding the four buttons (41.8mm to be precise), and that is pretty darn big for a square watch, but short lugs bring its overall length to just 45mm, which is a tidy fit on my 6.75″ wrist. A 12.6mm case height doesn’t hurt either. In the end, you have a compact watch that still has enough room to display a ton of information. With that said, you can’t have very high expectations, but the truth is that the Casio AE1200WHD-1A goes above all and any specifications and proves to be exceptional value for money.
