Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer Part 4: 365 GT4 BB 'NART LM' ". QV500.com. QV500. Archived from the original on 2008-10-08 . Retrieved 2012-03-15. If boxers weren’t bred for hunting, you might assume they were brought up to be babysitters. Like goldendoodles, this is a breed that lives to play with kids. Even when they’re not in the fray, they’ll gladly watch over your little angels as they play. (Speaking of keeping watch, be sure to supervise your young ones around all dogs.)

The Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer (BB) is series of sports cars produced by Ferrari in Italy between 1973 and 1984. The BB was designed by Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina. The first BB model, the 365 GT4 BB, replaced the front engined Daytona and was the first in a series of road-going Ferraris equipped with a mid-mounted flat-twelve engine. It was also the first mid-engined road-car to bear the Ferrari name and the Cavallino Rampante (prancing horse) logo. The 365 GT4 BB was succeeded in 1976 by the BB 512, equipped with a larger displacement engine, then by the fuel-injected BB 512i in 1981. The series was discontinued in 1984 when the BB 512i was replaced by the Testarossa, which used a revised version of the flat-twelve engine. The Tipo F102 B engine was enlarged to 4943cc. [11] Bore and stroke were now 82mm x 78mm and the compression ratio was increased to 9.2:1. Ferrari sales brochures claimed a peak power output of 360bhp (270kW); later Ferrari publications revised this to 340bhp (250kW). This was lower than the claimed power of the 365 GT4 BB, but the BB 512 reached peak power at 6200 rpm, lower than the 7000 rpm peak of the previous model. Torque slightly increased to 331ft⋅lb (449N⋅m) at 4300 rpm. Despite the loss in peak power, the flatter torque curve of the 5 liter engine provided a smoother and more user friendly power delivery. The larger displacement engine also allowed Ferrari to meet more stringent pollution and noise regulations without losing performance. BOAS—Like pugs and other pups, boxers have short, “squished-in” faces. This face structure can lead to brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS), a condition that makes breathing challenging. Additionally, boxers can suffer from eye, heart, and skin problems—especially around the skin folds on their faces. However, don’t stress too much about your furry friend’s health. Responsible pet owners screen for severe issues ahead of time, and with frequent vet visits and routine care, you can give your boxer a long, healthy life. However, any health concern you have, consult with a vet. Do Boxers Need To Be Groomed? Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.The third Boxer is a new car for Henton used by him and then Danny Sullivan through the 1977 F2 series after Thruxton. Sorry it is an error : The good pic is this one But, more locally, this also means prosperity for our employees and the local supply chain around us, so this is an important piece of history and a momentous day. Two Boxers are still in his workshop one displayed on the wall, the other in pieces but he has no regrets: “I did it for 20 years and worked with all the best drivers of the time, apart from Jimmy Clark.” Neither the BB, nor its closest competitor, Lamborghini Countach, were built from the factory to meet United States or Canadian safety and emissions regulations. [14] Enzo Ferrari believed that emerging environmental and safety regulations and the 55 MPH national speed limit suggested the company's eight-cylinder cars would suffice in the Malaise era U.S. market. [15] The 365 GT4 BB was also initially planned for a very limited production run, which Ferrari believed could be easily sold in Europe alone. [16] A typical multi-purpose car in the UK drives 33 miles on the gallon, but the latest generation of the Peugeot Boxer beats the average and drives an average of 46 miles on one gallon of diesel.
