Meanwhile, the October 1996 issue of Disney Adventures magazine includes a Goof Troop comic strip, titled "Toy Tussle", in which Max's birthday (a different one from the birthday seen in "Take Me Out of the Ball Game") is featured, but which is otherwise given no indication as to when, exactly, it takes place (besides it being in a snow-less, non-winter season).

Super Daisy made her debut in "Paperinika and Ariadne's thread" ( 1973). In the comic, Uncle Scrooge calls Donald to the Money Bin to receive a top-secret assignment but refuses to reveal the task while Daisy is present, belittling her for being a woman. Angry and repulsed by Uncle Scrooge's remark, Daisy recounts the story to Genialina Edy Son, who proposes that Daisy becomes the masked champion of the fairer sex. In the Mouse Works shorts, his role was more or less the same as in the classic shorts. In these shorts, though, he garnered a new adversary in the form of a baby turtle named Shelby, whom he would often have to look after and have a hard time doing so. The series also featured Donald in a series of mini-shorts titled Donald's Dynamite, in which his activities are interrupted by the appearance of a bomb that he then has to try and rid himself of. To make the buttercream, beat the butter with an electric whisk or table-top mixer until soft. Sieve in the icing sugar, then beat for 10 minutes until pale and fluffy. Add the vanilla, orange extract (if using) and milk, and beat briefly to combine.
