This is a square style Winbot. Its USP (unique selling proposition) over the earlier model Hobot 298 is left and right side ultrasonic sprays to clean in each horizontal direction. It also has later AI tech and a sometimes annoying voice prompt that tells you to tie the safety rope and clear space below where it is working – every time you move to a new window (yes, you can turn it off or replace it with any voice). Hobot 298 has the same basic designs as most other robots, however, it has an advanced artificial intelligence technology version S 1.0 and laser sensors to ensure faster and better cleaning. It’s very convenient and lets you flexibly adjust different parameters of the robot in User mode, such as the vibration frequency or the cleaning speed. Of course, the cleaning quality will increase. When connected to a power supply and placed on a window, the energy-efficient brushless DC motor powers up to deliver enough suction to enable the device to maintain a powerful grip on the surface, while the cloth-wrapped cleaning wheels simultaneously rotate in different directions which propels the robot in a slow zigzag cleaning pattern. If you want to experience maximum robot cleaning the Hobot is still one of the best choices available.

What is a Hobot?

During the wet cleaning process, it automatically wets the surface by spraying liquid in the water tank through a unique ultrasonic water spray which turns fluid particles into a dense mist so the robot cleans without leaving marks. When it comes to cleaning, the Hobot 298 has a built-in reservoir that uses ultrasonic technology to distribute its contents in a dense mist. The liquid tank is readily visible at all times, and its application is combined with a microfiber cleaning cloth that polishes and dries your windows to provide a streak-free shine.
