About this deal

I’ve found it works best as a nighttime moisturizer because of how intense it is, but it works during the day as well if my skin is especially dry. This plant, patented and exclusive to Farmacy, contains 300% more natural antioxidants in its roots than regular Echinacea. So the brand uses it in all its products in various forms, including honey grown from this Echinacea GreenEnvy, as is the case in the Honey Halo moisturizer. I knew it was time to try the Farmacy honey halo cream after hearing great things about Farmacy Beauty. I have very dry skin and I live in a desert climate so rich, hydrating creams are a must. Since the brand described this cream as “ultra-hydrating”, I needed to test it out for myself. Best known for: Being an eco-conscious beauty brand focused on using responsible, farm-sourced ingredients to make thoughtful, cruelty-free skincare and body care formulas.

I really think this will be my go-to come winter time. Will have to update this after I’ve gone through a winter with it! I typically have some flaky skin around my eyebrows and nose when the winter rolls around and I can tell this will be amazing to help combat that. Trader Joe’s just came out with a NEW beauty product and I could not wait to try it out. I saw it while I was shopping at my Trader Joe’s and it instantly reminded me of the Farmacy Honey Halo! The wood lid topping off a glass hexagon-shaped jar is a near identical match to the Farmacy cream. But, is this new addition to the Trader Joe’s beauty lineup a Farmacy Honey Halo dupe? Read on for my Trader Joe’s Honey Hydration Review to find out! Trader Joe’s Honey Hydration Review Also, even though it is a heavier product, I have not notice it break my skin out at all! Hasn’t aggravated my sensitive skin at all either. I would say it’s very gentle!I received a sample of this Moisturiser and I love it. Not only did it help with all my above issues but my skin has never felt so good. Yes, Farmacy is cruelty free. About The Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer About The moisturizer Same thing during the day. It actually sinks in and isn’t this greasy layer of product for the entire day that I have to walk around with. It does take longer to absorb than a gel-based consistency product, but not an annoying amount of time. The Farmacy honey halo ceramide cream smells delightfully like real honey. If someone put honey halo and a jar of real honey in front of me, I’m not sure I’d be able to smell the difference! The honey halo scent is not overpowering in the slightest. I can smell it while I’m applying from the jar, but the scent does not linger on the skin. If you are sensitive to fragrance, I think you would be safe with this cream in my opinion. However, they have a lighter product that might work better for you – Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer. Might be worth a try! Final Thoughts

This cream glides on the skin nicely without feeling oily or greasy. Since I do have extra dry skin, I like to use a facial oil or small amount of Vaseline to seal the moisturizer in at night time. If you have oily or combo skin, this moisturizer comes in a lighter version called Honey Drop. And it’s precisely because of this first positive experience that I wanted to try their latest release, the Honey Halo repairing balm-cream, which I thought had a more appropriate texture for night time use! An intense moisturizer to replenish dry, distressed skin with lasting hydration to help visibly plump skin and improve the look of fine lines. For normal to dry skin.use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity. This Farmacy cream does not pill under makeup, however, I prefer using it as a night cream instead of a day cream. I’ve noticed that creams with a lot of ceramides in them don’t tend to have a glowy finish, they look more hydrated. I really like a cream with a dewy finish under makeup so my skin won’t have a cakey dry look when I’m wearing foundation. To that end, many ingredients used in Farmacy products are upcycled from the food industry to keep them from going to waste. Farmacy is also Leaping Bunny Certified as well as partnered with ClearForMe, a comprehensive ingredient database that features over two million ingredients to help standardize information and make product discovery more transparent for customers. Farmacy is a “green” but above all an ethical brand. They work with local farmers to ensure better quality ingredients, grown in an environmentally friendly way. They notably have partnerships with two organic farms: Willow Wisp Organic Farm in Pennsylvania and Patent Wall Organic Farm in the Catskills, both grow the echinacea flowers used in Farmacy products. I’m not really new to Farmacy, I already had the opportunity to try the Farmacy Honey Drop, a light moisturizing cream with echinacea honey, which I loved to use as a day moisturizer three years ago!

Farmacy champions everything clean beauty stands for, both in practice and in product. However, on paper, you might not even realize Farmacy is a skincare brand at first. According to Catherine Birli, the brand's global head of PR and partnerships, “Farmacy was founded on the premise of bringing people closer to nature and finding ways to help incorporate nature into their daily lives.” But what distinguishes Farmacy from, say, ecotourism, is its “farm-to-face” philosophy, inspired by the age-old farm-to-table method, to ensure only high-quality, vetted ingredients make it into each product. An intense moisturiser to replenish dry, distressed skin with lasting hydration to help visibly plump skin and improve the look of fine lines, now in a convenient smaller size. I know this cream isn't a miracle cure for all, but I was very depressed after the last cream caused me so many problems, I wasn't sure I'd find anything that could work with my problematic pale combination skin. Honey Halo has been my skin hero.

Key Ingredients

Top Left – Farmacy Honey Halo Here’s how the TJ’s Honey Hydration Compares to the Farmacy Honey Halo: Typically when I’ve used heavier products at night I wake up in the morning and feel this film on top of my skin that I need to wash off immediately. The Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer actually sinks in and I can tell a difference when I wake up in the morning. Just more plump and soft! Has helped a bit with my texture as well. I haven’t layered this under makeup a ton because I’m just not a huge foundation person, but I do wear undereye concealer and concealer on blemished. From what I can tell it layers just fine! Especially near under my eyes. I’ve been wearing a powder undereye concealer and if my undereyes aren’t properly hydrated it’s not cute. This moisturizer definitely makes a difference! (not directly under my eyes since I have an undereye cream for that area, but surrounding areas) that violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising);
