About this deal

It does sound like a pretty bold claim that it can do all of that, so I looked a little into the science behind it all. The probiotic has been clinically tested and studied with people in stressful everyday situations with a natural culture. The live culture works with some added vitamins to help support your mind and combat fatigue. As someone who suffers with anaemia, I have taken quite a few supplements in my time to combat fatigue, but none have felt as good as this one, as it has many other benefits to it as well. The 1714-Serenitas culture in Zenflore acts by becoming part of the gut microbiota that is involved in the gut-brain axis, the two way communication between the brain and the gut. The culture in Zenflore is known to be involved in regulating your immune system, which plays an important role in health and well-being.

Three years ago a team of researchers at University College Cork found that people who took a probiotic containing a strain of healthy gut bacteria for four weeks performed better in stress tests than those who took a placebo. The group taking the daily probiotic found in the Zenflore probiotic pill – also reported less anxiety and lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol in their saliva than those on placebo. While most people are aware of the crucial role gut bacteria plays in digestion with studies linking the microbes in our large intestines to everything from allergies to immunity to weight, medical and psychiatric thinking has embraced the notion that our gut flora can influence our mood and stress levels too. The special 1714-Serenitas culture in Zenflore acts by becoming part of the gut microbiota that are involved in the gut-brain axis, the 2-way communication between brain and gut via the vagus nerve. Suitable forZenflore, with the unique 1714-Serentitas culture and specially selected B vitamins, provides support for your mind and body during busy and demanding times, reduces fatigue and supports mental performance.* Difference of neural activity change during resting state comparing B. longum 1714™ vs placebo. ( a) After the intervention, an increased theta band (6 Hz) power was obtained in a cluster including regions of bilateral inferior frontal cortex, middle frontal cortex, and the bilateral anterior cingulate cortex and middle cingulate cortex, comparing B. longum 1714™ with the placebo group ( P< 0.05). ( b) After the intervention, reduced beta-2 band (26 Hz) power was obtained in a cluster, consisting of the bilateral fusiform gyrus and hippocampus, left inferior temporal cortex and superior temporal cortex, bilateral middle temporal cortex and left cerebellum, comparing B. longum 1714™ with the placebo group ( P< 0.05). B. longum 1714™–induced change in neural activity correlated with increased vitality

ZenfloreⓇ has been specifically formulated by PrecisionBioticsⓇ to provide natural support during busy and challenging times.

Did you know there’s a connection between our brain and our gut? I’ve always wondered how the phrase ‘gut feeling’ worked and now I understand it. Thanks to the explanation of the gut-brain axis, which is the two-way dialogue between our brains and our gut. If you’ve ever said you have a ‘gut feeling’ or ‘have butterflies’ to explain how you’re feeling then this is all linked to the gut-brain axis. I know I have. Leading scientists at PrecisionBiotics® have made an outstanding find with the discovery of the 1 714-Serenitas® bacteria. This strain belongs to a species of bifidobacteria that can be passed from mother to baby at birth and, along with a host of specially-selected B vitamins, combats fatigue and promotes psychological well-being. We’ve long known of a connection between the stomach and the brain. ‘Butterflies’ in the stomach and ‘gut-wrenching’ feelings are clear examples of this phenomenon. Information is sent instantly from the gut to the brain via the nervous and immune systems, and through hormones (the endocrine system). Current research indicates that a gut with a healthy microbiota is a strong predictor of health and wellbeing. Eilish from Newcastle comments: “I was a bit sceptical at first, but I felt really good, and my concentration levels were much higher. I had so much more energy.”
