About this deal

My first ever home console was the SEGA Mega Drive and again this works flawlessly, and because of the 4:3 display the game sits perfectly inside of the screen with bright saturated colours and nostalgic music coming from the speakers below. This is another console I found myself going to alot. On the top of the RG353M are shoulder and trigger buttons. There is a 3.5mm headphone port, USB Type-C port for connecting peripherals to, a Mini HDMI port for connecting to a TV or monitor, a second USB Type-C port which is used for charging and a Function button which is used to bring up the in-game menu. RG353M Top View To try a different emulator, see Hints -> Trying different cores/emulators in this guide. All retroarch cores Shaders The RG353V and RG353VS retro gaming consoles are powered by a 3200mAh li-polymer rechargeable battery. The battery life is up to 6 hours, times will vary depending on usage. A higher demanding game will have less battery life.

From here on is where the improvements have been made to the retro console. The first thing you will notice is the Aluminium Alloy casing available in Space Grey and Rose Gold. It gives the RG350M a real premium feel and look. We can see from the three benchmarks; Antutu, Geekbench and 3DMark, that the RG505 sits in between the older RG552 and the over double the price of GPD XP+ Android handhelds. Don’t use the sleep mode while a stand-alone emulator is active or while you are playing one of the Ports. If you do, you will find that the controls don’t work when the device wakes up and you will need to perform a power-cycle. Systems that use a stand-alone emulator include N64, PSP, Dreamcast, and Nintendo DS. Show the Retroarch menu You can show the menu used to alter these settings by pressing L2. GameBoy Set the screen colour to a light green, matching the original GameBoy display There is also the built-in screen controller mapping which we have seen in Anbernic’s recent Android handhelds. It works very well and definitely gives you the upper hand on games such as first person shooters! Benchmark Results and ComparisonAfter several minutes of sitting idle, your handheld will start playing videos of random installed games. This is the screen-saver. To play the game currently displayed, press START. To exit the screen-saver, press one of the face buttons. Trying different cores/emulators

Overview of the RG353M ANBERNIC has kept in their lane with this device and tweaked it efficiently over the last two years to a point where it’s close to perfect.
