About this deal

Beer has been falling out of favor as drinkers are shifting toward higher-priced spirits and healthier alternatives, like spiked seltzer. However, beer’s affordability, brand familiarity and product innovations, including low- and non-alcoholic beer, has grabbed people’s attention once again. Retail beer sales have jumped 20% since mid-March, when Covid-19 began spreading in the United States, according to Nielsen. Non-alcoholic beer sales jumped 35% in the same time period, the firm said.

There’s no hop or malt extracts in Zero. These featured in the ingredients in Prohibition. Calories, carbs and sugarBudweiser Zero is a light beer that contains fewer calories than Budweiser and Bud Light. Interestingly, it contains twice as many carbs as Bud Light. If you’re more interested in craft beer and how that tastes, Lagunitas IPNA and Athletic Brewing are great places to start. Budweiser Zero vs Bud Light Bevo was a non-alcoholic malt drink or “near beer” that came in under 0.5% ABV to get around the laws of the time. It fell out of favour in the late 20s when everyone was allowed to get drunk again. We're proud to present Budweiser Zero. The same great Budweiser taste, crisp refreshment, and smooth finish we've been making for over 100 years, just with zero alcohol. Uncompromisingly Budweiser brewed for those who make zero compromise. There are 3.3g of carbs per 100ml (11g per 330ml can). But it’s almost sugar free with just 0.1g per 100ml (0.3g per 330ml).

Budweiser states that it is using the latest technology to brew Bud Zero. However, they have not disclosed their methods of brewing. The beer’s ingredients include barley, rice, hops, and water, as well as “natural flavors.” A distinction worth noting. Lots of beers that are labelled as non-alcoholic in fact do contain very small amounts of alcohol, usually to the tune of 0.5%. You’d have to drink insanely large amounts to even feel remotely tipsy, so if that’s what you want to avoid, you’ll be fine drinking these. But if – perhaps for religious reasons – you don’t want any alcohol to pass your lips, seek out the 0.0% beers. (By that logic, you may want to reconsider drinking orange juice or putting vinegar on your chips, though – they can contain 0.5% and 0.2% alcohol respectively.) We’ve divided them into two categories below. Are you old enough to (not) drink? The Bud name carries so much weight to it, and this product is going to benefit from instant consumer recognition,” Bryant said, adding that the Bud name is “certainly going to spur trial among some consumers” who otherwise might not have tried it. Anheuser-Busch is the largest brewing company globally. As a result, it has an extensive network of breweries in locations like Baldwinsville, New York, Columbus, Ohio, and its flagship brewery and headquarters, St. Louis, Missouri. Therefore, Bud Zero is brewed in various locations throughout the United States. Is Budweiser Zero Really Alcohol-Free?It’s safe to say I walked into this tasting with a healthy level of skepticism. I love craft beers for the unique complexities in flavor they offer. Budweiser is an American beer company that was founded in 1876. It’s now owned by Anheuser-Busch, or AB InBev, one of the largest brewing companies in the world. Budweiser makes a range of beers, with the most commonly known Bud Light and Budweiser. Budweiser Zero: Alcohol Free Beer The beer had a soft launch in March and it’s debuting a national ad campaign featuring Wade beginning Wednesday. So far, the initial reaction from drinkers has “pleased” the company, according to Rustgi. That trend has recently extended into the beer market as both large and small companies rediscover non-alcoholic beers. Athletic Brewing, for instance, is a small craft brewery that only makes zero-alcohol beers and doubled production to keep up with demand. Prohibition was brewed to the same recipe as the alcoholic version. The brewery removed the alcohol in by heating the beer in a vacuum. It also used a brewing process that stops all of the malt fermenting.

There are quite a few methods used for brewing non-alcoholic beer. Some control the temperature during fermentation and alcohol is never created. Some use a special distillation method post-fermentation to remove the alcohol. Budweiser non-alcoholic beer is made by removing the alcohol from regular Budweiser using a process called reverse osmosis. Where to Buy Budweiser Non-Alcoholic BeerNow Budweiser has released a “new” version of “Prohibition”, this time more simply named Budweiser “Zero”. Pit stops are still necessary to drain the tank, but that’s just a routine part of the event that usually takes place during caution laps. Bottom line: Budweiser Zero tastes like Bud. Light to medium-bodied, with zero alcohol, zero sugar, and low calories. As one who would normally drink Bud, Busch or Coors Light beers, Bud Zero offers an acceptable alternative when I don’t want the alky. I can drive around with an open can, walk into Wally World with it and carry it open on municipal streets, though some zealous busybodies may still confront me over having an open Bud. It’s kind of fun to watch them shrink away when I explain what’s in the can. Bud Zero is something I can enjoy with seafood, which is complemented best with the malty flavor and effervescence of beer, and for me there is no other reasonable substitute.
