About this deal

Despite this being a long book, it maintained its momentum throughout and the story built to its conclusion which sets the scene for the next instalment. I'm not a huge fan of BDSM themed books but this is subtly explored and despite a visit to a sex club, the author didn't over emphasise the experience and, despite Krys’s innocence, the scene did not make me feel uncomfortable. Yes, this book ended on the inevitable Cliffe which came after an intriguing night out and an unexpected confrontation. The next instalment is already calling to me and I can't wait to see what's in store next for Alex and Krys. As I’ve traveled through time for five books with Rembrandt Stone, at the end of each—but none so much as book five—how was he going to get out of this mess? Now, with the release of the final book in The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone series, all I have to say is: Whoa!! This trio of authors hit it out of the park with Heart of Stone.

She scratched absently at her arms beneath her embellished cardigan—her halfhearted nod to the event's formal dress code—and stepped out into the crisp night air. Pausing on the paving stones, she took a moment to savor the silence. The solitude. For the first time in hours, her nerves began to unwind.Yes, I was a bit sorry to be saying goodbye to Rem, Eve, Booker, and the others, but I was also excited to finally get answers. For five books Rem has struggled and fought to control the outcome of his life. Each choice just seems to make things spiral even more out of control. But, maybe that's what he needs. To let go and let God. Maybe when he does so things will finally slide into place where they always should have been... Heart of Stone continues its rollercoaster ride for readers across time, suspense, action, and even love. You won't want to miss this conclusion to "The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone" series. I'd love to tell you more...but I don't want to spoil your ride. Get a copy of Heart of Stone. You'll be so glad you did.

I do not want to give too much, hence, I would get into Spoiler territory. I cannot wait to read the second and third installment of this novel. Dakota Willink I feel has a promising career in writing. First impression is lasting impression and the novel and her writing did just that. Congrats Dakota Willink. Awesome read!!! Can't wait for the next book. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” But he's learned things along this journey. He's not invincible. He's ready to move in humility instead of with the hot headed impulsiveness which has gotten him to this point. Stanley focused on his phone as he composed some sort of text message, so he missed seeing Bea's eyes narrow at the threat. She was the angel who guided me to salvation, lighting up all the places inside me that had been dark for most of my life. She also didn't doubt he was surprised to have his incipient lie about being the injured party in any circumstances involving her burst like an overinflated party balloon. She could practically see his desire to scratch the itch caused by her refusal to cooperate with him, and Bea's untimely interruption. Her first series would go on to be translated into five different languages, and she is constantly being recognized for various awards. This acclaim has seen her become a bestselling novelist, and she also writes under the name of Marie Christy for several different projects. She is an outspoken member of the literary community, contributing to different outlets, such as the ‘Blunder Woman Productions’ project. I was SO ready for this story, but I was was NOT ready for this series to be done. This past year tagging along with Rembrandt and all of the other characters has been quite the ride! My heart rate was always high as I dove into each new story. Same went for this one!

I loved everything about this book!! The characters were amazing! Alexander is such an ass, but oh my gosh, he is a God!! Krys puts him in his place more than once and it drives him nuts and it's part of what makes this book so electrically charged!!Stepping aside, she gestured toward the ballroom doors. "Now, seeing how late it is, please allow me to walk you out. Tonight was a wonderful success for the museum, and I'm certain Dr. Lefavreau will express his gratitude to you the very next time he sees you. Shall we?" After a while, the plot deviates and thats when it really gets good. Christina and Alexander were realistic; she was a stronger female and he was actually a really likeable character. I loved finding out what his "past" was and how it ended was just beautiful! Unfortunately, the hermit gig didn't pay much, and Ella was addicted to living indoors and eating regularly, so she had to work, which meant dealing with people on a daily basis. At the museum at least, most of the people she met were on their best behavior, and being surrounded by the art made the unwelcome company almost bearable. When she gave tours as a docent, she could concentrate on her speech and on the works she pointed out to visitors to the collection; when managing the gift shop, she could smile politely and use professionalism to keep people at bay. The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone is, without a doubt, my favorite series of 2021. Drop whatever you're doing and read these books - you won't regret it! And something else, something that frightened Ella more than even the assault. It twisted his lips and carved lines into the surface handsomeness of his features, transforming them into a macabre mask of evil.

C.E. Murphy is one of the highly famous authors from The United States, who likes to write her books based on the romance, science fiction, and fantasy genres. She is particularly renowned for writing the widely successful Walker Papers series, Inheritor’s Cycle series, The Strongbox Chronicles, and The Negotiator Trilogy series. In addition to using her original name for writing her books, author Murphy also uses the pen name Cate Dermody for writing some of her novels. Her writing career also consists of writing a graphic novel called Take A Chance. Author Murphy was born on June 01, 1973 in Kenai, Alaska, The United States. Apart from writing the fantasy and science fiction books, she is also credited for writing several comic books and short stories. In one of her interviews, author Murphy has stated that the pseudonym Cate Dermody is the maiden name of her grandmother. Currently, she resides in the ancestral homeland located in Ireland. Along with writing books, author Murphy was also involved in a number of other jobs such as archival assistant, web designer, library volunteer, and cannery worker. However, she maintains that writing novels is her most favorite and primary hobby. Author Murphy began her writing career in the year 2005 and released her debut book in the same year, which was published under the title of Urban Shaman. Since then, she has gone on to write various other novels based on a wide range of genres. It was at the age of 6 that author Murphy began writing. At that time, she used to write only stories and poems, which used to get published in her school’s publication. The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone has been a hard series for me to read. I couldn't look away, I was on the edge of my seat, and yet there were things that bothered me. Both in regard to the plot and the content. Here in this final installment, if you thought Rem had been on the verge of losing everything before—well, just hang on. He's really about to lose everything. So for one last time, he heads to the past to see what difference he can make. This book is heartfelt, dealing with all its drama in the real-world, effectively reflecting it every step of the way. The story itself is engaging, and it’s easy to see why this series became so successful with its worldwide audience and following. Fully invested in the characters and their outcomes, the story has many twists and turns, constantly managing to surprise the whole way.Although this book is reminiscent of others currently on the market, the writing style makes it an altogether refreshing change. There is a developing story which made me warm to the main characters immediately and with their connection came a special story which underpinned the essence of the book. I saw the dark promises in his eyes when he looked at me. But the shadows of my past haunted me, making me afraid to explore the possibilities I could never before have imagined. I give this book five stars of awesomeness. Wow! Talk about a powerful erotic drama, this book is it. I like the smooth pace. The writer maintained an easy storyline of unrequited love. Romance. Hot and steamy sex scenes. Intense conversations and heart wrenching decisions. The writer was able to hold my attention from beginning to end. I like that she kept elevating the drama higher in each chapter of the book. The assistant museum director raised her eyebrows and pursed her lips. "The two of you certainly startled me," she said. "I knew you were out here, of course, Ella, but I was afraid you might have hurt yourself."
