About this deal

For those who do not travel all that often and the brush is going to spend most of the time sat in the bathroom waiting for its next use, the battery life is actually fine. At the 30 second intervals, the brush will provide an audible warning via a slight pause in the brush motor. This is your cue to change from one quadrant to another. Once the 2 minutes are up 3 brief pauses in the brush motor will be heard and felt. This is your cue that the clean is over.

You should imagine your mouth broken up into 4 sections. Upper right, upper left, lower right and lower left. The idea is that you spend 30 seconds cleaning each section. The pacer helps you keep an even brushing time on these 4 sections. Together these add up to the 2 minute total. In most instances, you have the choice of opting for a third party brush head. There may not be the same range and the quality may be different. But there are some great options at very good prices. The range of electric toothbrushes available is so vast that it can be overwhelming to choose one. To keep things simple, we have narrowed down the options to the choices you see listed above, and will now explain why we recommend them.

Where are the differences?

Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets Personally, I believe the wide array of models just makes it more confusing than it needs to be, for the likes of you and me when it comes to buying a toothbrush.

Colgate has offered good value brushes for many years. They haven’t been must-buy products, but they do what they need to. Oral-B and Sonicare have been better in product quality and cleaning power. The sonic cleaning action has always felt weaker in the Colgate brushes, and this still applies to the Colgate 250R. It is cheap, but the battery life and box contents are worse than the 250+ it replaced. The design is a bit more stylish though. The built-in timer and pacer encourage you to brush for the right amount of time, evenly across the mouth. Why I feel it is important here is because the battery life is weaker than most other brushes so more frequently will it be depleted if not left on the charging stand. Our in-house dentist Dr. Gemma Wheeler has found that patients are more likely to clean their teeth for longer thanks to the timers built into electric brushes. What to look for, what to avoidOn the very bottom of the brush handle is a recess, into which the pin on the charging stand connects too. The reality is the buttons on most electric toothbrushes are reasonably firm. We don’t have anyone on the team that has a similar condition to be able to give their input and I have no meaningful metrics that I can use to measure the pressure required to activate a function button. Technically, all of the brushes are the same. None of these brushes will clean the teeth better than the other. I really like the clean the brush offers, I have little in the way of complaint here. My teeth and gums felt clean after every use. CleanTeeth is another possible alternative. It is one of the better options, albeit a bit expensive and bulky in hand.
