We manufacture our food with a best before date of 9 months so by the time a customer receives it there is usually at least 8 months of that time remaining. In our homes we decant some into a container with a flip top lid so it does not create an airtight seal. The rest we just keep in a cupboard, still in the bag and roll the top of the bag over.
