About this deal

screen is available on select Galaxy models only, including Galaxy Tab S7, S7+, S7 FE, S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra. I also tried the Second Screen feature with the Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra. The tablet's enormous display makes for a fantastic secondary screen, though you're free to use Second Screen with any compatible Galaxy tablet. On Geekbench 5.4, which measures overall CPU performance, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 scored 1,782 on the single-core portion of the test and 8,250 on the multi-core. (It scored 1,789 and 8,292 (respectively) on Geekbench 5.5.) These values are close to the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, which scored 1,719 and 9,043 on those respective tests. But if you can’t stand how the speakers sound, you can always use your favorite pair of the best headphones. Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 review: Battery life and heat The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 3 does have MacBook-beating connectivity, though. It has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI, a microSD and a single USB-C. That's a solid smattering.

It weighs 1.8kg, which while fairly light for a laptop with a 16-inch screen, it's not nearly as light as an Acer Swift Edge or LG Gram 16. So not quite top of the best lightweight laptops list either. But you know what? I don't mind. Ultra-light large-screen laptops often have a slightly hollow feel to them, and body panels tend to bend a bit. The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is an altogether stiffer thing. It looks and feels the business. Samsung has made its Book3 series deeply integrated with its Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The so-called Galaxy Connected Experience brings a number of important features. Multi control allows you to directly control your smartphone through the laptop, drag and drop files, as well as copy and paste both text and images. And what can we say about the touchpad other than that it's absolutely massive? Quite a lot actually.

Some models may have limited feature support.

Overall, I found the display bright and colorful in my own usage. This is evident in The Mandalorian season 3 trailer. Colors are vibrant but not overly so. All the small details in the alien environments are also clearly visible and distinct. If you’re going to watch streaming content on this device, you’re likely going to have an enjoyable experience. Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 review: Keyboard and touchpad The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360's Graphite finish gives the laptop an elegant look. (Image credit: Tom's Guide) To use Windows Hello requires specialized hardware, including fingerprint reader, illuminated IR sensor or other biometric sensors and capable devices. There are two display sizes to choose from: 16 or 14-inch, both boasting exceptional WQXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens with Intel®Iris® Xe graphic cards - that's incredible 3K quality! With an impressive 120Hz refresh rate and 120% Colour Volume (DCI-P3), the Galaxy Book3 Pro delivers cinematic viewing and powerful gameplay. You can choose from two elegant colours; Graphite or Beige and with a tough aluminium frame it stands up to the demands of the day.The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 also includes all the tools you need for a productive day's work. From the 1080p FHD high-resolution camera, AKG™ tuned quad speakers and bi-directional AI Noise Cancelling microphone, this laptop makes you work smarter not harder. What's more, the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 supports almost all the ports you need. It has two USB Type C ports with Thunderbolt™ 4, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, HDMI, HP/MIC port, and a microSD card slot. A SIM slot has been additionally provided for the 5G model too. This will be because Samsung keeps a lid on the turbo mode, to lower heat generation. And I'm hardly mad about this. Where recent Samsung laptops have impressed in this department, this machine put in a middling show. It lasted 11hrs 35mins in our video rundown test, which isn’t bad, but it’s a long way behind the standard set by the M1 Apple MacBook Air and M1 MacBook Pro.

READ NEXT: Our guide to the best laptops to buy today Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G review: What you need to knowThe Book Pro 360 5G is also the first Samsung laptop – indeed, the first laptop from any manufacturer – that we’ve received to come with Windows 11 out of the box. Now, I fully expect Windows 11 machines to arrive with increasing frequency from now on, especially with the launch of Microsoft’s Surface devices, but good on Samsung for getting in there first. The Galaxy Book3 Pro comes in two sizes - 14-inch and 16-inch, while the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 only comes with a 16-inch display. They share quite a bit of underlying technology with the Ultra. For starters, the display specs across all four models are the same - you get a variably-refreshing AMOLED panel of 2880x1800px resolution. On the other hand, it isn’t particularly fast, battery life is middling and, with a price that’s higher than that of most of its rivals, you’re going to need a pretty compelling reason to stump up the extra cash for 5G cellular connectivity. For those reasons, if you want a thin-and-light convertible laptop for taking notes in class or the office, it's easy to recommend this laptop due to the battery life being better than expected. Its all-aluminum build makes the notebook feel durable and premium. This premium look holds true for both laptop and tent mode. It's a device that doesn't feel out of place wherever you use it, whether that's at a cafe or your office. It's an overall elegant machine.

The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 lasted for a solid 12 hours in our battery test. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 has a considerably shorter battery life.Typical value of battery capacity tested under third-party laboratory condition. Typical value is the estimated average value considering the deviation in battery capacity among the battery samples tested under IEC 61960 standard. Rated (minimum) capacity is 73.9Wh. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 quad speakers deliver solid audio. Everything from highs, lows and mids come through crystal clear. The sound never gets muddled, even with the volume cranked all the way up. With that said, the bass sounded too thin for my tastes. I enjoyed typing on the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360’s keyboard and I’m happy to report that this is the case with its successor. Those not so bothered about the hybrid design may also want to consider the Acer Swift Edge or LG Gram 16. These are much lighter laptops, handy for travel use. And the Gram has a much longer-lasting battery. Neither feels quite as expensive as the Samsung, though.
