I have perfume-eating skin, but Intense Café gives me no problems on the longevity front whatsoever. If you want a long-lasting gourmand rose fragrance, this is the one that you’re after. Projection & Sillage This fragrance is really very, very well done by Montale! For a Montale, it is even suitable for the masses! It is not often the case with this label... :) Overall, Montale Intense Café is a delightful gourmand fragrance based on rose, coffee, and vanilla that is creamy, smooth, cozy, and definitely delicious.

So: different than expected, but after testing the fragrance and wearing it several times, it will definitely be on my wish list, just the association of the cosiness I get with this fragrance because of the café atmosphere is enough for me to buy this perfume as a work of art in itself.

Fans of jammy rose, like Lush’s Rose Jam, will likely find a lot to love here, though perhaps someone who favors darker, more serious roses like Portrait of a Ladywon’t be as keen. Though the name of the fragrance implies that this will be a coffee fragrance, it really isn’t. To be sure, there is coffee lurking in the mix which reveals itself the closer that you press your nose into your skin. However, if you’re looking for an all-out, balls-to-the-wall coffee scent, this ain’t it. If you want something like that, I would suggest Kerosene’s Follow, Akro’s Awake, and Sebastiane’s Espresso Royale.

Početak mu je gadan, a i predugo traje. Osećam oud, kao hladnu svežinu, gotovo medicinsko-metalnu, naspram odvratno slatkog džemasto-sirupastog mirisa ruže. Ima i neku tamniju notu za koju nikad ne bih rekla da je kafa, ali neka im bude. I to, tako gadno, predugo traje. Kao otrovno sladak džem/sirup/ratluk (čak i sve to zajedno) sa dodatom aromom ruže, koji niko ne bi probao, što zbog guste slatkoće, što zbog hladnog i mrvicu gorkastog mirisa ouda. Tek nakon sat vremena, probije se vanila, koja sa tamnijom notom iz baze (kažu da je kafa) da kremastu nijansu mirisu. Oud i očajna slatkoća povremeno iskoče, ali su dosta ublaženi. I can definitely advise everyone to test Montale fragrances 1. on the skin and 2. let them work real! The top note says nothing about the actual fragrance! I as a niche beginner have there probably just not yet the little hand! ;-) Sto se silaze tice ova parfemcina je toliko jaka da moze da vrati pola jugoslovenskih firmi iz stecaja! Kidanje!
